Been like that for the last 2 weeks. I wonder if it's the ticket office being their usual useless selves or if we are being held to decisions made by the FA / Gov?

I'm getting very twitchy about going seeing how many are now testing positive even after both jabs.
st albans fox Posted 21 July 2021 Posted 21 July 2021 If Brent council refuse to sanction a crowd of more than 30k, will there be a justification for moving the game to the midlands ??

People would also kick off after seeing what happened at the EUROs under restrictions still imposed on the country by the Government. I think the only issue is sanctioning more than 75% capacity at the moment.

Villa Park is being used that weekend for a friendly v Sevilla I predicted back when they were ramping up the test events at Wembley that the crowds were too small and not partisan enough to truly test the plans. Low and behold, big crowds arrive for the Euros, problems occur

The app broke down at one point for example and stewards were careless in checking.

Stevosevic Posted 22 July 2021 Posted 22 July 2021 Two weeks to the event and no ticket details yet....
Wrighty22 Posted 22 July 2021 Posted 22 July 2021 The longer the wait the more nervous I get that we'll be in someway screwed over with tickets. 3
KrefelderFox666 Posted 22 July 2021 Posted 22 July 2021 Referee appointment: https://www.thefa.com/news/2021/jul/22/20210722-paul-tierney-to-referee-fa-community-shield-2021 However, nothing on tickets still... If you read the article there are two interesting parts: "FA Referees’ Committee chairman David Elleray added: “We’re delighted at the prospect of the 2021 FA Community Shield being played in a partially-full Wembley Stadium" "Kick-off time and broadcast details for the game will be confirmed in due course." Seems like it may be 75% then (or similar). Also, the second quote, pretty sure it has been confirmed as 17:00 KO and it being on ITV...

Leicester_Loyal Posted 22 July 2021 Posted 22 July 2021 It's disgraceful how late we were provided information for the FA Cup and now this.

The FA Cup was understandable, as frustrating as it was. No excuse for this one. Just to add, pretty sure this is no fault of either club either. Edited 22 July 2021 by KrefelderFox666
Guest Lcfc82 Posted 22 July 2021 Posted 22 July 2021 This should be full capacity, no excuse for it not to be
Fox92 Posted 22 July 2021 Posted 22 July 2021 Seen a couple people on twitter now say ticket details will be tomorrow. No idea where they are getting that from? In the meantime Jim said "hopefully we will have something very soon" yesterday.

Guest ttfn Posted 22 July 2021 Posted 22 July 2021 No use it being 75%+ capacity when they’re giving people 2 weeks’ notice or less. I’d be surprised if they got 40,000.
