He was alright but didn't pull up any trees. He's easily forgotten because he played about 10-12 games and nobody remembers much of those games.

Jesus, what a berk.

 

Potentially damaged his team's prospects because of a brainfart with a slice of inherited hatred.

Watching the highlights, Alaba was being oddly forceful almost seemed to punch him. Odd scenes. The Macedonian players didn't seem to make anything of it, so I'm surprised it led to a suspension.

Unless I've gotten the wrong end of the stick, it's probably something to do with the fact that what he said was like a South Slav N bomb equivalent for Albanians. 

 

So it's probable a few of the Macedonians didn't give a shit.

My guess is they must have dished it out to Arnautovic as well up to that point. He might be a complete bell though, but it was a pretty agitated response.
