And Vice-versa; those you loved but now can't stand?

For me, plain yoghurt is one I hated as my dad used to insist I had it every day, I don't know why. But now I love it either on it's own as a plain dip or with fruit.

I used to love liquorice as a kid, particularly liquorish wood. Now it's almost vomit inducing.

Bacon. For some reason took ages for me to try it and then like it. Don't think I liked it til I was a teen.

Spinach. Wouldn't say I 'love' it now. I can definitely tolerate it now but I hated it as a kid.

Mushrooms.

They go in basically everything now, I'd have had the screaming abdabs if they were in my dinner as a kid. Oh and eggs.

The other way, I used to be able to eat chocolate and sweets for days like all kids. Christmas Day I could sit and eat chocolate basically all day. Now about a third of an easter egg and my teeth feel weird and I feel a bit sick.

I used to love mint chocolate chip ice cream as a child, now I can't stand it.

Lots of things I didn't like that I now love though, Stilton, olives, yorkshire pudding, stuffing with roast dinner, and probably plenty more that I can't remember

Can't think that my tastes have changed much.

However, my mum, generally a pretty decent cook, serves up monstrously bad mashed potatoes and also scrambled egg. It wasn't until I moved in with a bird that I realised both mash and scrambled egg weren't disgusting if cooked correctly but actually quite nice

I'm with you the Stilton. And olives. Must be so much nicer there, though.

It's funny you say that, my husband tried eating one straight from the tree a little while ago, he didn't realise you can't eat them fresh lol

And yes we're spoiled with olives, but definitely lacking a decent Stilton

There's always one. I'm sure you can find it on Amazon, though.

Used to be a place in Covent Garden that sold breast milk ice cream. Not sure if it’s still up and running.

For me, I made myself try to love smoked salmon when I was a teenager, as I thought it was very sophisticated (!). Hated it at the time but love it now.
Olives is a great shout @FoxesDeb, love them now, hated them when I was younger.

I have a memory of really enjoying semolina and raspberry jam at school, but might very well barf if it was offered up to me now.

I was a really fussy eater as a kid, now I'll eat pretty much anything except tinned fish

Something clicked overnight in my 20's and realised I didn't hate most vegetables anymore. Particularly cauliflower, asparagus, brussel sprouts - detested them as a kid, love them now

Going the other way, I used to absolutely love those creme caramel puddings, and now I'd only have one if there was literally no other pudding or similar item available. Wet, flabby, pretty unpleasant. Also I never have cereals anymore and used to practically live off them, but I think the gradual reduction of sugar on all the good ones has just ruined them over time

Used to take mushrooms out of bolognese but I eat them most weeks now.

I used to bloody hate nuts of any kind, but I eat them pretty much every day now.

If we're accepting condiments?

Used to hate both horseradish and BBQ sauce.

Now I could happily have either on almost anything.
