I've not tried the new ones, but apparently the recipe is absolutely nothing like the one that Jamie Oliver got cancelled back in the good old days. Turkey Twizzler day was the best school dinner

That probably explains it. I remember them as a kid being quite sweet and tangy like it had tomato sauce flavour to it almost. The new ones tasted like shit hot dogs mushed into a spiral shape.

I misread that as "hot dog shits" lol

All of 'em

I was so picky as a kid, and so limited in my palate and now within reason I'll try anything, not sure about the Tit Milk mind!!

Wouldn't want it running off my ice cream cone in this heat, anybody could stick their tongue out to pick up/lap up the drops!!!

There really isn’t much I won’t eat to be honest, I think it’s because my sense of smell isn’t very good.

Mushrooms. I think it was the texture I didn't like as a young'un then just went mushroom mental. You want to try RoboFox's 5 mushroom risotto. Damn.

Also beetroot. My old man loves it, and grows it and pickles it himself. Again, not sure why but wasn't keen on it when I was younger now I can't get enough of it. Mature cheddar and pickled beetroot is in the top #1 of sandwich combos.

Never really hated any food though TBF. Apart from anything that comes from a goat. Goat's cheese. Goat's butter. **** off, goats.

Any chance of getting the recipe for your mushroom risotto please @RoboFox

Used to take mushrooms out of bolognese but I eat them most weeks now.

I used to bloody hate nuts of any kind, but I eat them pretty much every day now.

What were you doing putting mushrooms in bolognese to start with?!!

The new ones are offensive to the point of nausea.

Turkey Twizzlers. Randomly decided to buy a pack on a whim the other day and took one bite and chucked the box away after. I didn't think they tasted that bad when I was a kid lol.

Edit: Clearly i have read the title the wrong way round lol

Did exactly the same the other week with a friend. We bought them out of curiosity as they were a staple of our school dinners.

None of the grease, salt or flavour of the originals. They were bland, weirdly anaemic and strangely rubbery.

The rest of the pack ended up as dog food.

Baked beans are the big one for me. Thought they were horrible mushy shite when I was younger, then tried them again a couple of years ago and saw the light. Less averse to onions than I used to be.

Can't really think of anything I've gone the other way on. I used to like mangos, cherries and grapes before I became allergic to them but that's not really that I don't like them anymore, more that they cause me severe physical pain.

Onions, garlic, eggs, tomatoes, peas and mushrooms from what I remember. Basically wouldn't eat a fry up. Wouldn't eat burgers from anywhere because of onions (even when requested to leave them out always ended up on it anyway) oh and salad, I hated salad. Couldn't understand why people ate the stuff. And I've only started eating pasta for about a year. I was one fussy kid. But it's funny how all the listed above are now my favourites. Now I am fat.

His mouth a favour?  Best veg to put in a bolo alongside carrot (tomatoes/onions are a given).  Makes for a really good meat alternative if you're making a vegan option too.

i actually like eating raw mushrooms. The pre- chopped ones you can get in that blue plastic container form the supermarket. I’d cut you if you tried giving me them as a kid

Fish, carrots, broccoli are the main ones.

I grew up in the 'freezer generation' so freshly made food was only really sunday roasts and fry ups due to having parents working long hours during the week.

Amazing to think of the range of foods I love now.
