Well it would certainly be a challenge!

certainly would! it was quite a safe tweet saying "would be open to a new challenge if a suitable offer came in" this account will do the same with 4-5 players over the summer in the hope that one of them comes off

I’d like him to stay but wouldn’t be too bothered if he left, it also wouldn’t surprise me if he left . Everything about him wreaks of wanting to play for one of the so called big 6 and all the finary that goes with it .

Didn’t palace want £70m for Zaha? So I assume that will be the ball park 70-80? We really should be getting ESR in return though, don’t see the point in letting madders go without getting ESR row in return tbh. If they don’t want to let him go then tell them to get fcuked.

AFC bell is a highly rated ITK for arsenal

With respect, how the hell does the account have any inside information from Maddison’s side? Or a deal between two English clubs? When the account is writing in Arabic or something. Something doesn't really add up.

Not sure about his contacts but he got credibility within arsenal fan base

Every player is interested in a deal if the money is right (especially the players agent!)

i suspect Arsenal have madders on a list of players they would like to buy - but that will be a long list !

so the bell end is probably right on both counts but that doesn’t make him very ITK !

I believe that is all based around him knowing something about the Partey deal last year (they think he had a link to a Partey family member/friend or something), don't think he has had any good knowledge about any other deals for them

"Far too much is made of AFC Bell as a source. He went all in on Partey and got it right, but that could have just been a gamble. When he reported some of the details. Many were proven to be false. I'd take anything he posts with a pinch of salt!"

Yeah, apparently he called the partey one last year. Still not convinced. Depends on our stance with him, if we don’t want to sell it won’t happen. Not sure it’s worth the hassle of getting a replacement etc but we will see

Wasn't there a poster  who got hammered on here  for basically saying the same thing as this?

Yes that was Stringer Bell not AFC Bell

I love madders, and it would be a shame to see him go, but if we were to sell one of our main talents for big money it’d have to be him for me. Purely down to uncertainty surrounding his recurring injury and my confidence in our recruitment team to replace him. Barnes, Fofana, or Youri? 100% hands off

Easiest route into the England team without having to make the improvement to earn it. :)

Leicester need players that are fantastic on top form but inconsistent enough to dissuade interest from other clubs.

Maddison fits that description.

Let him leave when he has managed a whole season of being injury free and in top form.

If true that the people around him are saying he’s open to a move, that suggests he needs better advisers, especially after the party incident and Boohoo partnership.

The best thing for him is to knuckle down this season and focus on his performances (and get a better group

around him who put his interests first). He won’t find a better environment to develop them he’s at now. As I said before, becoming a father will hopefully mature him as well. There is a responsible and focused player in there demonstrated by some of his interviews but sometimes he’s allowed temptation to get the better of him.

If he wants to go, Sabitzer would be the obvious replacement, especially given the transfer fee of 15 million.

Maybe he’s sick of being made a scapegoat and the unnecessary stick he gets from his own fans. Iheanacho talked about the impact the negativity of the fans had in him so it doesn’t go unnoticed. I could understand if maddison wanted to move on and try and find somewhere where he is loved and appreciated by the supporters.

He hasn’t helped himself with his behaviour off the field in contrast to Ihenacho.

I think it’s a minority who made him a scapegoat. Most fans I expect know that it’s injuries and fatigue that cost us.

I get he’s made poor decisions in part but so have others who don’t get the same treatment. Most fans I think probably do treat him fairly and love watching him play but there is a very vocal minority who just scapegoat and criticise him. All I’m saying is that I wouldn’t underestimate the effect on a player wanting to leave who is having that done to them.

I wouldn't think Arsenal would invest a very large amount of money in a player with a supposed dodgy hip so perhaps that has been overstated. However for all his faults he remains one of our most talented players so definitely a keep for me.

Maybe that’s the problem, he can’t manage to do that.

What, you don't think the Arsenal fans would give him stick if he wasn't focusing on the job that he's getting paid handsomely for?

Fans will always love you, if they get the impression that you're giving it everything.

Not sure all of our fans feel that he's totally giving 100% on and off the pitch for us.

I could be wrong though

I agree a lot of our fanbase have given him stick he didn't deserve, but if he wants love free of criticism, utd or the arse aren't the places to go

...not heard Madders getting booed when he walks on to the pitch!!!

Nacho's negative abuse can not be compared to the negativity posted on Foxestalk, as well as no doubt, other media outlets in regards to Madders.

What ever Madders is going through is nowhere near the stick previously meted out to Nacho.
