I’ve not read much into the whole Maddison to Arsenal thing, but why the f**k would anyone getting first team football and earning a decent packet at Leicester want to go to Arsenal?!

A more decent package?

That being said, I don't think he is going anywhere.

This will only happen if Arsenal don't get a centre-forward or Ødegaard and feel they have to make a late panic marquee buy to appease the supporters. At that stage it is probably going to cost them £70-80m.

I am reliably informed that the deals for Daka and Soumaré are extremely good deals for City in terms of the payment structure - the ~£40m we've paid in total for the two is spread out over some significant instalments, so the need to sell anyone for major money this summer is not there.

Fantastic business from Rudkin, it really is.

...I  am not sure about this statement!!!

Willock wants a bigger salary, it will have nothing to do with Arsenal. The Loyalty bonus would be a calculated or agreed fee payable by Arsenal, even if they want to get the deal over the line, the issue will still be the wage.

Should Willock be offered a five year contract at £40K per week and he was expecting to receive £60k per week, would that mean Arsenal paying the difference for five years to allow the deal to go through?

I've just read the paper article which states that Newcastle are having difficulty in reaching agreement on Willocks salary.

The likely outcome is  Willock sits tight at Arsenal, That gives Arsenal a problem as they clearly want to sell him and get him of the Books.

So Arsenal might have to sweeten the severance package to encourage him to take a lower Salary at Newcastle.

This happens if Clubs are serious about getting rid of players surplus to requirements.

Sounds like his deal is all sorted with Newcastle now anyway

By the lord there are some fuched up people in this world.

Surely these people are being paid to do this?

You wouldn't do all this stuff voluntarily.

I got a senior scholarship to post exclusively on Foxes Talk from Age Concern, so it does happen. :D

If they do get Ødegaard and all of our other key players stay as expected, then this is probably our first summer since 2013 where we haven't lost an established first team player for one reason or another.
