I don’t think football is for you pal. You need to take up polo or croquet.

It was a working class game long before you rocked up.

You need to man up or ship out.

Have you been in a coma for the last 2 years? Being working class is not an excuse for any type of behaviour, nor is any class tbf.

I doubt most of our fans would recognise our own players' partners, let alone a squad player from another club.

At no point in the article is it suggested it was a Leicester City supporter, beside the point though it's not acceptable whoever the supporter is.

going off that article it was almost certainly a Wolves fan

You're probably right Jimmy, and others, I jumped to conclusions. Not out of hate for us - just out of hope for better all round. General point still stands.

You really need to have a word with yourself. I consider myself as “working class” whatever that means these days ( I have worked all my life to earn a living) and I really do not want to go back to the dark days of the baby squad and millwall fans and others having pitched battles across welford rd reccy (nelson Mandela park) and tearing up town centres etc.

ok so I was only a kid at the time but it terrified me and my dad to the extent that we would not go to certain games. If you think not going to a games ‘cos you were afraid that certain Neanderthals were going tooled up for a fight is being sissy then you are right, I need to man up as you put it.

i have no idea how old you are, but if you were there then that makes your comment even more asinine.

There will always be banter between opposing fans, but nobody should go to a football match and get assaulted or abused in this day and age. If it was your daughter would you have told her to man up or ship out.?

Nobody got assaulted by a Leicester fan at the game yesterday. Did you even read the article…

Why are there so many middle class folk at the football these days ? Tigers go crap and all of a sudden they’re all down the city.

I've been going for 35+ years - did or do I (or anyone else) require your permission at any point? Do we have to show our middle-clas ID card?

Remember this well. A few of us foolishly once went there out of morbid curiosity to spectate after a match against Everton because we'd heard about it. Assembled on Lancaster Road near the prison walls, we realised our mistake when the baby squad started screwing together snooker cues and brandishing stanley knives. The Everton fans emerged out of the fog from the opposite side of the park and advanced towards us - at that point mercifully the police arrived, which was a blessing in disguise because they started indiscriminately battering people and throwing then in the back of vans. I legged it up Newton Street with a crowd of people which the horses charged into. Cut up a side passage in one of the houses and hid there for thirty minutes.

Just found it odd that football is mostly always been a working class sport that’s all. Most middle class school didn’t even play football. So found it strange why all of a sudden there’s so many middle class fans. The atmosphere has 100% been affected by it.

Sadly there are a lot of entitled pillocks from all walks of society (it's not about class or politics). You only have to see the amount of litter lying around cities, in our parks, green spaces and verges as an example.

Everything is always someone else's problem, for someone else to sort, even in the case of taking YOUR own shit that YOU brought HOME or to a BIN...its not hard!

People think it's 'their rights' to do as they please.

There are idiots, every club has them. Unfortunately I doubt they will ever change unless we are legally allowed to kick the shit out of them.

No it doesn’t, it’s based on a false assumption

I mean, what on earth is a middle class school?

I've got an idea.

Every week, let's start a new thread so we can slag off Leicester fans.

Most middle class schools weren’t playing football … mostly rugby. I’m sorry if I’m offending the middle class posters on here but let’s be honest the club was founded in Leicester which was mostly working class people. Leicestershire  mostly always been made up of the middle class and supported the tigers. I’ve lived in Leicester 30 something years and hardly came across a tigers fan in the city of Leicester.

What?

What precisely is your definition of a 'middle class school'? Could you give an example?
