Do these amateurs really believe suggesting something as stupid as this is worth the attention and loss of credibility in the long run? Or do they expect people to actually forget they say this garbage?

Thought I'd see if it had reached thefightingcock yet and although it hasn't, I did come across this:

(Conveniently leaves out that he scored a worldie seconds after they sung it)

Cundy will say anything to wind people up. It's the talksport philosophy apart from a few exceptions. He, almost certainly, hates Spurs, which shows how disengenuous he is being here.

Have to laugh at stuff like this. It’s just a fight to come out with the biggest bullshit these days.

The shite pundits can’t lose. If Vards has a big season he can say “told you he was still great, Spurs should have gone after him”, if he has a stinker it gets brushed under the carpet with some other crazy talking point taking the limelight.

Just have to laugh at this stuff and move on. It just depresses me that there are such idiots in the world who are willing to talk such crap all the time.

I suppose this is just another example of the media recognising that we have better players and better recruitment than some of the old school big six

I've never heard this particular pairing on talkSHITE - are they on in the wee small hours - catchment audience insomniacs and shift workers?

Actually talkSPORT does have intelligent discussion - a recent programme involved a discussion about the aimlessness displayed by both Spurs and Arsenal. The consensus with Spurs being that Kane should be sold and a rebuild begun. Arsenal are just treading water, buying (and failing to buy) players in the hope that something miraculous might coalesce from the chaos. Maybe the right word is congeal - like the sticky inedible deposit round the top of a ketchup bottle.

This is blah-blah-blahing - like sheep in a field lost in fog.

Vardy would be ideal for lots of teams. Spurs would be crazy to spend a large sum of money on him though, as he’s at the stage of his career where he will decline.

The spelling of Cundy's name is always auto-changed on my phone. Now I know why.

So they claim Kane is worth at least 120 million. With Kane Spurs can't get into the top 4.

They then say that if they sell Kane and buy Vardy they will be nailed on for top 4.

Therefore Vardy > Kane

Therefore Vardy worth more than 120 million ...
