Championship loan would probably be best

If he could get a move to a championship club where he can play consistently in one position (hopefully winger) that would be great. Don’t like it when players are used all over the place, as he was in pre season. Reminds me a bit of Schlupp and Amartey. I doubt he wants to be a utility player long term.

Brendan does love a utility player though

No chance he will go unless we get someone in.

Rogers quoted saying he’d get limited game time. Loan in England be good for him and hopefully follow KDH route.

A season in the  championship playing 40 odd games would do him the world of good.

Buy it need to be a loan were he is a regular starter.

With a recall clause encase he does a Barnes.

Can only see this happening if we get a RM in.

So the fact it's made news we are looking to send him out tells you what?

That we are looking to get a winger in.

I think we should use him and try him out on the RW. Can't be as bad as Perez and if he does well we save 30 odd million

I think keeping him around playing U23 and making him immediately available if and when necessary as with Thomas is the best option. He must train with the PL squad though.

Still think there will come a time this season where he will be needed, and if we don't get another winger in then it will be scandalous to let him go.

He doesn't take up any room in either the 25 man PL squad or the EL squad I don't think? We already have a massive squad to trim down and he's a bonus maverick player in competitions we can now name 9 subs or 12 in the EL.

That said a season on loan in the Championship would be interesting and it gives us flair seeking fans another interest as there'll be scant chance of seeing much down the City this season.

I disagree although we’re desperate imo for an explosive RW as things are he’s currently third choice behind Ayoze and Albrighton

If he goes in the next week I'm sure it's almost certain we'll be signing a RW.

Just hope we don't make a pigs ear of like it felt we did with Dewsbury-Hall last season and then couldn't get get an ACM in.

KDH was a case of long term gain, short term pain.

If BR wasn't going to use Praet last season would he have played a novice KDH?

Highly debatable but I'd suspect KDH would have impressed to the point they had no choice but to play him. He seems like a man possessed when trying to make it here.

If I was Brendan I'd be throwing him in the deep end with us. Start him out of the blue in replace of AP and give him a chance. I went to a lot of the preseason games and it was impossible to get any insight into his potential. It was so disjointed - different teams each half and I'm sure he played on the left at one point.

Ideally we should give him 30 minutes in a game where we're crusing by 2 or 3 goals but unfortunately for him BR always likes to go defensive - so it's more likely we'll end up seeing him coming on when we're dog turd chasing a game.

I know a lot of Foxestalk thinks NP is a living god, but most of his team have struggled since he left City

Nigel 10:27

Jesus looked at them and said, 'With man it is impossible, but not with NP. For all things are possible with NFP.'

Maybe but it could be that he learn't what it takes to be a first team player in his time at Luton.

I think he's time a luton help him mature and become a better player, it will stand us in good stead for the future.

I like him to play the Youri role in some of the cup games and EL.

We are going to have to replace him at some point, would be good to see what he can do.

It's so hard to make it here with the midfield we have isn't it? I remember King bursting on to the scene as a young teenager, don't get me wrong, he looked good, but we were so bad collectively that he was given time to grow.

I don't think AK would have that opportunity now if he was coming through. KDH is a predicament but I feel BR is aware of his capabilities and is managing the situation.

Sowah is more frustrating because the position is a glaring weakness of ours. If we had 2 established RWs fighting for a place we probably wouldn't even be discussing him.
