Noone should boo a player from their team full stop, but I'm not against people showing displeasure at a poor substitution.

There was blatant booing when Maddison took to the field that was obviously distinct and separate from the booing at the decision to take Lookman off. Horrible to hear:

Exactly, what I heard. I think we shouldn't just assume it's for Maddison coming on. I've heard fans react negatively to players, mostly to Nacho, but today I dont think it was.

Keep booing the players, get their confidence shot to pieces and then pay less to see them in the championship potentially then.  We should know better than any club what happens when we have a toxic atmosphere around the place and what happens when it's buzzing with confidence and positivity. Booing used to be common place at opera houses if not nowadays.

 

Hardly comparable are they though to be fair. Well, maybe brothels.

How does booing a substitution help?  It's not as if the manager is going to change his mind and anyway is there some way of translating booing so that the players know that the oncoming, or departing player is not the subject of said boos?  Perhaps there is some kind of universal boo decoder?

 

If you're frustrated, take it out on the opposition.  Or maybe even show some support?

 

Booing your own team is a line that should never be crossed to my mind.

The self entitled fans that walk amongst us are a disgrace. They expect to steam roller teams and every pass should be perfect. 

 

I know it's been said so much but winning the league has turned so many of fans in to complete bell ends. Honestly it's making me think is it worth going to watch them now as the fans ruin the majority of the games.

Yeah I agree it’s pretty bad. Everyone round me going mental when we played a pass. I get it that we should attack more under Rodgers but sometimes the only pass on is backwards it sidewards, no need to boo every time ffs.
