Partly. People were defo booing maddison which don’t surprise me with our mongy fans

I was with the lookman coming off displeasure

but we gave AL a standing ovation

booing madders is a disgrace - those who did that needn’t bother coming IMO

DON'T. BOO. YOUR. OWN. PLAYERS.

Reacting with disappointment to Lookman going off? Unhelpful but OK.

Making a point of continuing to boo Madders when he came on? Fvck right off. (And don't insult us by pretending nobody was.) He's not a crap player he's just out of form and low on confidence and throwing abuse at him isn't going to fix it.

Do these people learn nothing? That was literally Iheanacho not that long ago.

Surely it not even justified even if they are... it will seriously help no-one!!

Fans were booing because that idiot of a manager took off our best player.

Why not Barnes or Tilemans.

Honestly for me.

Tielemans been dog shit since and needs benching.

Barnes has been dog shit and needs benching.

Maddison been dog shit and finally has been benched  it looked hungry when he came on.

Perez shouldn't get a game unless in cups.

Ihanacho needs to be starting games.

Booing is what idiots do; they’ve always done it, they’ll always do it regardless.

I was sitting behind a bloke who was booing us three minutes into our first away match in League 1 - ended up giving him a loving tap on his baldy head near half time and asking him nicely to STFU. We met up at the train station afterwards and his mates apologised for him: “He’s a d*ck, he’s always been a d*ck.

You just can’t reason with stupid as they’ll come out with, like he did, “They get paid enough, they need to prove me wrong.”

They won’t change their ways until booing is compulsory during crap sex.

I thought they were booing the ref for giving them a foul at the same time Maddison was about to come on.

If it was booing Maddison then what a bunch of willy pullers

Given we all know the type of person doing it, I’m almost certain they believe that they’ve helped to improve him by doing that.

A really awful part of the fan base.

Unfortunately we have a large number of fans that are very thick. You'd think they'd learn with how vardy was once treated. Then iheanacho....

Especially considering anyone with eyes could see keleci was top tier but low on confidence.

Hate it!  Really, really hate it.  It always makes me cringe.

I just hope that some of the barrackers read this and think twice next time.

It's counterproductive, unnecessary and just plain stupid.

The worst part is that it isn't productive. Booing Iheanacho onto the pitch in th Puel days isn't what turned him into the form player he is now, he picked his form up, coincidentally, when all our fans were nowhere near the stadium (although to be fair he had improved when he made appearances in Rodgers first full season). If you don't like Maddison coming on, then, here's a wild concept, instead of booing him on, you could just make no noise at all. Players in bad form, if anything, need more cheering than players playing well. If they are off form, cheer them when they do something right, might actually give them a boost and improve our performance.
