This all depends on the manner of the departure, but I certainly don't bear Harry any ill will.

I'm guessing you don't admire the way Mahrez left?

League titles and a Champions League final justify it.

So does a League title for us when he was untouchable.

Said it before, say it again. If the big boys come calling, if we get the right price, fair play.

It means they performed incredibly for us to get that move.

I just hope they fail against us or we finish higher in the league!

Oh yeah can't question his professionalism at all and don't begrudge him the move. We got double what he was worth so I was over the moon when he left.

That second season though he constantly looked like he was shifting an invisible wardrobe

Even more satisfying when Cags came in and made our team better.

And strangley, Harry made Man Utd better that year lol

I was just a few feet away behind the goal when De Gea lost it, after we equalised. Not very convincing I’m afraid, kicking his water bottle and the advertising hoarding and shouting to himself. it was like he was told to do that at a certain point in the game if things went wrong.
I still enjoyed it though.

was thinking more Dennis Wise type exit to be fair.

mahrez is an odd one, one of our best players ever, sulked a bit, didn't get his move, eventually did. all a bit 'meh' to be honest. dont really mind him, dont give him much thought

these guys are so far separated from the fans who really cares  most of the time ?

I took my shirt off and started swinging it around my head after Vardy's goal. No shame.

It was just the sort to do that. I lost my voice through shouting and that hasn’t happened for quite a while.

Fair play, I was thinking of our big money departures in recent years.

They've all justified it and won trophies, bar Maguire!

If they play that well for us, I have no complaints.

Especially how we've scouted and replaced them.

Aside from Mahrez, who is just a freak of a player.

Today was brilliant. Everything from the crowd, the effort and the performance of virtually everyone.

The only thing that’s bugging me is the fact we really should have finished above them last season and probably the season before. Probably would have done but for injuries I guess.

Superb, everything was great today. The performance, the result, the crowd, the quality of the goals at times. We played with far more aggression and positivity and it showed- a fully deserved win in a cracking match. Didn't let our heads drop after going behind then conceding an equaliser, kept going forward and creating.

The starting eleven and formation worked excellently, we looked much better with Ricardo and Castagne out wide. Soumare and Tielemans were fantastic in the middle, the three at the back looked a lot more secure, Maddison looked sharper than before and the front two key players again. The subs added something too.

Hopefully it's the start of getting the season going- we needed a performance and a result and we got it. Well done to all.

Oh come on.

He was great for us.

He moved on and became the captain of Manchester United.

We got a fortune for him, he had a bad day today.

He isn't the greatest, but don't be bitter.

The same with all our ex-players. Good luck to you, apart from against us.

He had a great 1st season, so much so he somehow managed to get POTY season ahead of Vardy who got 20 league goals despite playing in one of the most isolated systems ever seen. But Maguire's 2nd season wasn't as good. Still decent but not worthy of a player we'd sell for a world record fee.

Overall he was here for 2 seasons and we finished 9th twice, he's probably done less for us as a defender than Spencer Prior did when he was here.

I get that. I honestly do. But we didn't get, inflation adjusted £20m for Spener Prior!

And he didn't regularly represent England or captain Man U.

Look, I sound like I'm Maguires number 1 fanboy, I'm not.

We made a shit ton of money and had decent service out of him.

He ain't our problem now.

Easier to say when it's a defender though, how many times has Mahrez bagged against us?

Drinkwater aside, everyone who's left us lately for for big money has justified it.

Selling Maguire for £80m and getting Evans for £3m, says it all

Unreal isn't it?

Especially as Man Utd could've just kept Jonny Evans.

But they can't get Phil Jones off their books lol

If you watch him carefully the only defending he does is to head a ball which lands on his head or where it's in close proximity to him. Biggest waste of money ever

We exposed all of Maguire’s flaws today, flaws we know existed when he was here.

For Maguire we got Ricardo, Castagne, Evans, Soyuncu and Fofana bar a few million
