Thoigh6t we were going to get absolutely  nailed today.

The only thing I wanted to see was some passion from our boys, even if we lost.

Got that in abundance.

Thought Nacho was awesome today. Really putting himself about. That's why he should start games.

We could have been down and pit at 2-2 but what a comeback.

Sculptures should start designing Vardys statue for when he finally retires, this guy is Legend No.1 for our club without a doubt.

Everyone was fantastic today. Absolutely brilliant performance all round! What a win! It looks like we've used the break very wisely.

On a side note, I thought Man Utd away end was poor when normally I think they're the best in the league and I feel that was down to how well we played (aswell as a sign of the times)

And it is COMPLETELY beyond me that Matic wasn't booked in that game too. Absolutely unreal. Same with Pogba being let off for so long

Have a good night all! This is what it's all about :scarf::beer:

Brendan dug deep to get that performance out of the boys. Great formation. Great substitutions. Top class all over the pitch and off it.  A massive win whichever way you want to look at it.

Forgot to say earlier it's great to win like we have done today because it makes the referee's performance pale in to insignificance!

How did Matic not get booked for persistent fouling? Ironically Pogba did but not til late on.

He did well to play advantage just before Vardy's goal but surely you go back to book Wan-Bissaka?!

Also a moment in first half where he went to signal for a goal kick then thought 'fvck it I'm giving Utd a corner'

He went to give a goal kick until Pogba told him to give a corner 🤣

Soumaré v Ndidi is an interesting debate in this formation to be honest.

Man Utd had a lot of shots from range today, some of which Ndidi would have snuffed out, but Soumaré's composure and quality on the ball actually helped us massively in terms of progressing the ball up the pitch.

In a back 4 it's a no brainer that Ndidi players, but in the 5 that extra ball player in midfield has its benefits.

I'm glad you've brought this up because since West Ham I've said I think Wilf may limit us in a creative sense and maybe we should try a more forward thinking midfielder against teams that sit back, Soumare seemed to give us that extra spark, i would perhaps look to wilf against a team who are likely to have more possession but maybe play him in a system with 1 striker on the break

Soyuncu is a different kettle with Evans there with him. Keep at that and we'll all be happy.

£500mn of attacking line ( I guess ) and we fielded Amartey and took 3 points.

Same old Leicester, takin' the p*ss!

I sit in b3. No probs at gates for b1... but massive queue at b3 gates 7 to 12 as they attempted to channel everyone thru a single file set of barriers.  Single file for 6 gates?

They abandoned this at 2.40... causing a big crush as the crowd surged to the gates.  This was very dangerous for potential crushing and covid infection.

Please can the club stop these silly experiments on customers.

Ps I was left with no time for a pint and sausage roll.  The clubs loss.

Was just thinking about this. Maguire joined United "to win trophies", but 5 million pound 5th choice Leicester centre back Daniel Amartey is one good league cup run away from completing his collection of all the major winners medals in English football lol

So many positives to take from that today. But it was a cracking performance.

One major observation I took from today was Evans, I was intrigued as to why he makes such a difference, and he really does.

He keeps the entire back line in check, not just out of possession but with the ball too, those moments when he has the ball at his feet, he rarely just passes blind, he recycles possession really well, and it instils a sense of calmness to the back four.

He also directs the play test well, I noticed that he was constantly telling Cags, Dan and Timmy when to go, where to position themselves and when in possession where to make the next pass, constantly talking and keeping the shape.

We conceded a couple yes, but even manure in this state will punish anyone who presents them with clear opportunities, so they can be forgiven for that.

Besides that, that was as strong a United side as they could have put out, and I though we were unlucky not to come off with 6 goals today. Excellent performance, and it really does show just how good Johnny Evans is.
