Would also fit with the parking being on the corner next to the main roads and residential tower and hotel what i believe it’s primarily planned to be used for? Could also then have a smaller parking if needs be for the stadium/ arena where the parking is currently planned for? ...would be best to have a flyover in order to take away traffic from the surrounding main roads to get to the motorway easier!!!
Koke Posted 26 October 2021 Posted 26 October 2021 Newcastle fans all over social media crying about this.

stourbridgefox Posted 26 October 2021 Posted 26 October 2021 Can I again float the idea of turning the Ivanhoe Line into a road to and from the stadium from the outskirts near Kirby Muxloe?

There was a vote the other week in the PL to ban owners from sponsoring their own teams and we voted in favour. Newcastle are a bit salty about it because King Power have sponsored us for years. 1 1

Much better solution! 6

Much better solution! Me too, absolutely ideal. Far more preferable than 2+ hours on a bus or driving and ruling out the pre match beer.

A monorail is an interesting idea but the financial return would be limited unless we broaden the project and start to compete with the existing rail services.

A monorail is an interesting idea but the financial return would be limited unless we broaden the project and start to compete with the existing rail services. The Rail lines are already used for freight from the local quarries. I think the cost is more to do with the actual running against passenger numbers but I suspect that has changed significantly since the last assessment by Leicestershire CC who were never really interested in it back then. You've now go quite a few business along the track including Amazon who seem pretty keen on the project. 1
