After listening to Thomas Frank post match yesterday, I am really surprised Brentford did not copy Spuds and erect a big Cock on the roof of one of their stands.

In the dug out instead.

We seem to be attracting the attention of salty Newcastle fans if the comments on this article are anything to go by...

Wouldn’t be surprised if the Saudi Twitter troll army is already working overtime on anything related to Newcastle.

Could we not move the parking to the Eon site, and then would allow more space if we chose to expand the south stand in the future?

Would also fit with the parking being on the corner next to the main roads and residential tower and hotel what i believe it’s primarily planned to be used for? Could also then have a smaller parking if needs be for the stadium/ arena where the parking is currently planned for?

...would be best to have a flyover in order to take away traffic from the surrounding main roads to get to the motorway easier!!!

Can I again float the idea of turning the Ivanhoe Line into a road to and from the stadium from the outskirts near Kirby Muxloe?

Only if we settle the matter of swapping the kop and the family stand first.

There was a vote the other week in the PL to ban owners from sponsoring their own teams and we voted in favour. Newcastle are a bit salty about it because King Power have sponsored us for years.

can we not just turn it back into a train line that drops off at the King Power?  that way, I can catch the train from Ashby all the way through to the KP!  Much better solution!

Me too, absolutely ideal. Far more preferable than 2+ hours on a bus or driving and ruling out the pre match beer.

Just do that part of the bloody Ivanhoe Line as a railway. It's already there.

...didn't someone say it would be prohibitive due to the extensive cost in maintaining the rail lines!!!

A monorail is an interesting idea but the financial return would be limited unless we broaden the project and start to compete with the existing rail services.

The Rail lines are already used for freight from the local quarries.

I think the cost is more to do with the actual running against passenger numbers but I suspect that has changed significantly since the last assessment by Leicestershire CC who were never really interested in it back then. You've now go quite a few business along the track including Amazon who seem pretty keen on the project.
