So, are you saying the stadium has been transferred out of Leicester City Football Club Limited to an offshore company? And this wasnt disclosed in the post balance sheet events either.

I'd bet my mortgage this isnt the case.

We have it on a hire purchase agreement.

LCFC the club have never owned the stadium. Vichai bought it from some investment company 6 months after he bought the club.

I thought we originally owned it but remortgaged it when we hit financial troubles, KP then bought the stadium from the owning company as you said.

I think by the time the stadium is actually expanded 40k just won’t be enough.I think with a fair pricing they should have thought of about 50k imo.

The capacity hasn't been confirmed at 40k, mentions in some bits of the planning discussions for 42-43k. I'd imagine this is dependent on what they do for wheelchair/disabled supporters in the stands.

If this is how long it's taken to get one stand consulted and decided, most of us may not be here for further extensions.

I believe in reincarnation so it will be something to look forward to.

Wow if we expand to 42-43K then the East stand by itself will fit in excess of 19,000.

Would still prefer gentle expansion across the ground similar to Juventus arena second tier. Maybe do it in stages.

Maybe O’Reilly could build it!

It’s the best tv series ever made, I could literally recite every episode word for word!

Just thinking if we contracted O'reilly construction, we would have a complete stadium second tier, all made from 4 by 2.

Plenty of doors missing

We aint sold out a home game this season. If it ever happens they really ought to look at pricing and ticketing hoops.

Agree.  There may well be another 15-20k people out there who "follow the city".  Whether or not many of them are prepared to fork out 50 quid plus for a ticket every other week and an odd midweek, is an entirely different matter

They need to start thinking rationally about pricing as my fire stick costs the same for a year as it does for matches. Im lucky I can afford to pay but a lot of people aren’t, especially if you want to bring a family

I think everyone has a limit as to what they will pay for things.  Even if you can afford it, you still think its not worth it.  I can afford a tenner but I wouldn't pay that for say, a bag of chips.  I'd rather go without.

I'm about at my limit as to what I can afford and what I'm prepared to pay for football tickets as I've posted on here before. I can't be the only one and as much as I preferred the championship to the Premier league there's no way I'd pay £50 to watch us against the likes of Watford or Bristol City if we are relegated because that's the reality.  They never put prices down do they

Union Berlin have revealed their updated plans to renovate/expand their stadium
40,500 capacity with 32,500 standing places and 8,000 seats, with construction to take place during the 26/27 season. Looks absolutely mega.

Will King Power still own the club then?..

Good point!

And if they continue to alienate fans as much as they do I could see us not needing the extra 8000 seats.

I thought that was already known, it was said in a fans meeting with the club the other month

Ah, clearly not by all of us.
