I get the old folks discount but I share that with my son so we both pay the same.

The demand is there but not at the current prices, which are ridiculous. Expand and reduce the prices and it’ll fill. Match by match prices have gone silly the past 3-4 years.

Yeah as illustrated by the numerous Saturday cup games which have sold well because of better pricing

Nobody in their right mind is paying £46 for a ticket in the Kop against Palace on a Wednesday night, the club is run by cretinous individuals.

£56 in J block!!

No the just want us to pay for the financial mess they put us in.

That's a very shortsighted view. The expansion has to be in place ready to go once the club is back on the upward trajectory. Not sure what the problem is with some empty seats in the meantime.

I agree

build and they shall come . . .

We have to show ambition

Why are we holding on to the old training ground, move the women’s team out to Seagrave it’s not that there are not enough pitches and sell the old. Seagrave was a big mistake in the first place I mean who  need individual bedrooms for players with silk sheets when do they ever get used .

Quick question for anyone who knows...

Would expanding the stadium increase the amount we're allowed to spend under Fair Play rules as we'd have more income potential? :dunno:

I think we need to show common sense even more.

We are being left behind already - this expansion should of been thought of and completed 5-10 years ago in reality

push on let's get it done

The likes of Man U & Spurs generate £100m match day revenue alone per season, we are at a push to get £12m, the whole development is needed to progress.

It is insane that this expansion isn't progressing. Spending the money doesn't add to our "official" expenditure, but the added revenue adds our "official" income.

I admit I can't get to the stadium anymore, but when I did, I rarely spent a lot of money. But not because I wasn't willing: The food was awful and buying stuff took forever. A more modern stadium would greatly increase revenue.

(I realize the pandemic really affected King Power, and there are politics involved in the country. But still - get on with it!)

Personally I get the impression there is no longer any real ambition at the club, they are happy to tread water and go no where.

I think we need to get on with it, the income from the expansion can count towards income meaning more profit and more we can spend and stay within the rules. I am not talking about empty seats etc I mean income from the fanzone area, the arena, the apartments, hotel rooms, extra income from the shops and the like. Heck if we get in trouble again we can do a Chelsea and sell the hotel to ourselves etc. You have to look at profit made as an extra to the ticket. Ie if the average spend per head on things like parking, food, merch etc is say £20 then you could reduce ticket prices a little to fill the stadium which in turn would equal more fans, more merch sales, more food sales etc. Football is a business now and you need those extra things like events in the arena building, the apartment income etc to help make money to stay in the rules.

Why is the club so quiet on all this, if it ain’t happening they should say so, we’re becoming more distant from the club more than ever now .

They wouldn’t even announce the findings of the internal review……

Didn’t they employed someone last (September) year to oversee all things stadium development?

"His appointment at Leicester is his first in football in more than a year and the role will be centred around the “further development and expansion” of the King Power Stadium, signalling the club’s intent to push ahead with their expansion plans.

The Foxes first outlined their ambition to expand the stadium in October 2021 when they applied for planning permission to increase its capacity by 8,000 seats. These plans were approved by the local council in December 2023, which the club said would prove to be “transformational for the city and the region.”

So let me get this straight, if the above is true we must be the only club that is in desperate need of a new DOF and we sign one ex Man U..........not as a DOF!

WTAF?

Please tell me he doesn't have to report to or answer to Rudkin!
