Don’t expect much of a revamp; club is skint

We can't be. We have so many saleable assets in our squad, we could easily build a new ground if we sold Vestergaard, Faes, Soumare, Skipp, Ayew, BDCR and Daka.

We'll timeout on this and be back to square one. This board is an absolute shambles and if Top doesnt have the money he should sell up/get investors on board to fund it!

Wrexham are pushing ahead with plans to develop a brewery and entertainment complex right near their ground.

Meanwhile here in Liverpool spades are in the ground to redevelop the area directly south of Everton's new ground. Something still conspicuously absent from our own plans despite the looming planning consent deadline.

We're being left behind due to a lack of ambition (and empty coffers) it seems. The wider redevelopment tied to our expansion was arguably more important than the bums on seats, as far as the city goes. The offering near the KP is appalling, as increasingly it is in the city as a whole.

Both things can be true.

¾ of the seats are faded, there's some serious rust setting in on parts of the roof supports and the toilets are getting to Haymarket Bus Station levels.

You'd wonder which stadium I meant but if I add in the "lucky" monk flags are looking worn out and tatty, then it's obvious. Filbert Street needed a complete rebuild so it wasn't a surprise but we're in a 20 year old stadium. Keeping it up to a modern standard should be straightforward enough.

I did. Filbert St was over 100 years old when I went. This ground has been constructed in this century and the seats, concourses, roofs need cleaning up, refurbishing and modernising. We moved to have better facilities and they constantly need attention.

Southampton ground felt better than ours last season similar age and style but in better nick, been Arsenal this season (daughter) far far better ground condition though I realise I’m comparing apples with melons

Completely agree, was looking forward to the arena personally! Leicester lacks a sizeable venue to attract the big touring artists. Would earn the club a bit of kickback as well. Ambition replaced with short sightedness as far as the nose sadly

Well the way things are going on and off the pitch we might need a reduction in capacity rather than an expansion

That's so short term though isn't it

we need to show some ambition

I was working with someone yesterday who’s a Leicester fan. Drove past filbert street, and just said how much of a shame it was that there’s nothing but a car park booth and some blue railings left from Filbert street…… he didn’t even know what filbert street was……. He assumed we were in the KP forever. Made me feel ****ing old.
