It just feels very stale at the moment. I don’t know what the answer is. We continually give away poor poor goals, concede from set pieces, and have an increasing aversion to playing on the front foot. I have no expectations of us beating Chelsea, especially without Tielemans, but I at least expect us to compete, and we were nowhere near that today.

I’m by no means Rodgers out after what he has achieved, but I have serious questions over how we are moving forward and whether this team feels it has achieved all it can together, feeding into the general malaise around the club. I don’t know what the answer is, but the next few games are growing in importance

Bar United, I'd say we were probably the worst team playing today.

I watched our game, the Watford game and saw bits of the other games - we looked the most sluggish. Norwich looked lively, Palace were decent and even fvcking Burnley scored 3.

No excise for conceding the same goal again . That’s 4 times . What are we doing in training

Kolo is our defence coach. He was a great defender. What is he doing? We can't defend set pieces which should be as about straight forward as it gets.

Wonder why Daka didn't get a chance today. Seems odd. 3 nil down would of been perfect for him to have a go. Brendan clearly doesn't rate him.

There's always something to achieve if you're ambitious. It really comes down to team building. In business and in other areas of work, there needs to be a belief amongst those that are part of the team and they need to believe in the person leading them that the leader has the skills, knowledge and experience and influence and character and crucially, self-belief to achieve the goal

Why has Soyuncu become so shite?

I’d love to know why he picked that side, said before a ball was kicked that team wouldn’t do anything. Lost the game before it started. Why not be different and play Daka up with Vardy and give KDH 4/5 start while Youri is out we must be the easiest team to play against this season.

They sang for 90 minutes virtually non stop

None of their traditional songs. Not particularly loud IMO. I don’t have a winner in this argument but felt Arsenal were far more lively here.

Absolutely. And I think that showed up

massively today. The ‘big six’ or ‘top four’ may have the finance but they also have the drive to stay there. It’s one thing breaking the top six for two consecutive years, but it’s a whole different ball game challenging for top six season in season out. Do the players believe that they can realistically do that here. It doesn’t sound like Rodgers does. It just feels like there is a general feeling that the FA Cup is as good as they can do, not ‘can we win another one or another trophy’. I don’t realistically think we can get top six every season, but I do think with the squad we have, we are underachieving and to a point regressing.

It anyone is surprised by that result it’s a shock. Coulda been 6/7 and we couldn’t complain. What has happened and it’s not just injuries.

I wonder if part of our defensive problem is a language problem between Jonny Evans and Caglar Soyuncu.

We start every sodding game with a at least a one goal handicap. It’s a joke. 1 clean sheet, opening game. Embarrassing.

No midfield playmaker one out injured and the other sat on the bench half the game, yet another brain fart from Rodgers, I have said it before is he playing to get the sack rather than be seen to jump ship to another club.

Cags looks like he doesn't know where to be half the time

Simply awful. The lack of effort or quality on show was appalling. Beginning to look like the dressing room has gone toxic. Been crap for too long now, Watford is an absolute must win.

I'm sure Olly at the wheel said exactly the same thing.:D
