Other aspect of doing well in this is it boost our UEFA Club coefficient, helping us to get better draws if we get back in Europe over the next few seasons.

 

Our points for 2016/17 Champions League run are no longer counted as it only includes the last 5 seasons.

A fair few teams from the low countries… PSV, Feyenord and possibly Vitesse if they can beat Roma. Bode Glimt look decent, Marseille will be tricky but I fancy Slavia Prague and Revenge from last years Europa humbling.

Now we've gotten through two rounds, fivethirtyeight.com has upped our chances of winning this tournament from 10% (when we dropped into it) to ... wait for it ... 12%.

Their computer has not been impressed with our having been slaughtered on xG in three of the four legs we've played so far.

I would prefer PAOK or Slavia Prague...
