I agree. Love what the UFS guys do with the TIFOs and trying to create an atmosphere but it's one of those songs - a bit like the other Maddison song that's mumbled too - that just can't catch on in a crowd. The tune isn't familiar to anyone that doesn't watch darts, it's not catchy and two blocks away it's just a drum beat with a few blokes mumbling.

It doesn't need Bernie Taupin penning lyrics or even OTT percussion. Just simply Maaaa-dison, Maaaadison. It's more audible, doesn't need learning and the player might actually hear his name sung because I guarantee he doesn't know if he even has a song - 3 seasons after joining.

not embarrassing at all. Pretty sure any fan base up and down the country gives it the big one when a goal up during 90 minutes. Sometimes it goes tits up - that's not embarrassing, and if your main feeling tonight is embarrassment then you need to grow a backbone

😂. You cannot hear SK 1 anywhere else.

 

Get rid of the drums and clappers. Sing songs at the correct pace.  Don’t sing awful songs like the Maddison and Dana ones.  

 

L1 and the P blocks next to the away fans are creating more atmosphere.  

Now that the two P blocks next to the away fans are no longer part of the family stand, singers, please start moving over there.

- FT pretty much roundly agrees to sing chase the sun for Maddison

- UFS the only ones to actually try and sing it

- UFS told it's shit and get the blame

 

If people are so arsed then start something else themselves. UFS ain't your stadium jukebox.

Flat performance from the team results in a flat performance from the crowd. Whatever anyone says, at a home match, it starts with the efforts on the pitch. Against Liverpool and Watford the players started on the front foot and got the crowd going. A passive performance for much of the game against Spurs with shambolic defending did little to gee the crowd up. The funereal end after that last minute embarrassment was all on the players obviously.

The Madison song is as crap and 'Vichai had a dream' is good.

 

No point whinging about the atmosphere when most songs are more like the the 870 word American Pie that only Tyson Fury knows than a Beatles / Oasis type simple chant.

 

Great effort for trying but being over complicated comes across as smug as does the embarrassing wind up of Spuds fans when they are annihilating us without the goals (yet)

Surely encouraging our own side is more productive than the silly juvenile 'we hate Forest' and dissing Spurs?
