Channel our inner Burnley and park the bus for 90 mins with whatever bodies we have. We might get away with Man City not getting double digits. What a game to have at this moment, yeez.

I remember going into the game last season with really low expectations but this is another level of negativity.

Ever since childhood have always felt boxing day defeats that bit more. Must be a sort of festive killer. This fixture with our depleted squad does appear even more of a cloud on the horizon. Still better than the dark old days of league one or bottom of the old division 2 as I still think of it as .

If Vestergard and Bertrand are in the team, expect double figures against us. Going to be a thoroughly miserable fixture for us. When did it get so bad? Lol

Any chance of any of Castagne, Barnes, Evans, Justin or Fofana being fit for this, he said grasping at straws? I've assumed Ricardo, Vardy and Cags are out.

Don’t even do a post-match on this game. Gonna be horrendous like everyone fears. Only saving grace is I hope Pep tells his boys to lay off after going 3-0 up.  Have mercy!

Play complete development squad for this match perhaps with KDH, Choudhury, Barnes and Thomas. Go full strength vs Liverpool

I like the idea of this. Why don't we? It would be against the odds to get anything from this game anyway, we'd be giving our first team players christmas off and resting them.

There's only one thing that can save us from being obliterated..

Is it a bird?

Is it a plane?

Is it a train?

... No...

It's...........

Superomicron!!!!

Mad to think how much we've regressed since last season when we went and turned them over. Could get ugly this game.

Have a horrible feeling about this one, we simply cannot defend at the moment and these lot are gonna cut through us like butter! I’d love to be proved wrong but watching us at the back this season it could seriously be double figures

Crazy to think we’re likely to be without our 3 first choice FB’s and our 4 (four) first choice CB’s.

Evans / Fofana / Söyüncü / Amartey

Justin / Ricardo / Castagne

For reference that’s like Man City minus:

Dias / Laporte / Stones / Aké

Cancelo / Walker / Zinchenco

Would leave them without any first team defenders. Any side would be impacted by our current injury list. It’ll be a miracle if we can even put a side out with Vardy and Barnes potentially out as well
