Exactly, read between the lines there where it says the clubs view that it'll be at least 3-4 weeks is on the very optimistic side and is not what's likely to happen. That said, Vardy is a machine isn't he.

Btw we generally haven’t trained properly for about a good month now - be lucky if we have two outright training sessions a week. A lot of these injuries are now fatigue driven.

Slightly problem being the 25 man squad restriction though. We’ve probably got one slot there open with Benkovic coming out. Other than that there’s not a lot of room to do anything.

Only problem is, we all know if someone did do this and the powers that be listened, it would just be a case of 5 sub rule coming in to help the big boys out. 

Rodgers has backed 5 subs, said it last week again.

 

Other clubs don't have as many injuries as us, or they have bigger squads. Not sure which one but for a club that places emphasis on sports science we seem to get a lot of reoccuring injuries.

Vicious circle really, we're/we were chasing the CL dream to keep and attract players, we're building the club up with a new training ground/stadium extension to keep and attract players - but we can't afford to keep or attract players.
