Didn't use two of the three letters from my second guess in the third guess. Took a risk at trying to eliminate a few more letters instead of using letters I knew were correct (although not in the right place).

We should talk more tactics.

 

I always start with the same word (that has a lot of vowels) and the same second word that covers the remaining vowels.

 

If still struggling further on, I use words that don't contain letters I've already found, but do contain the most common letters left. 

 

A slow process of elimination.
