It's pretty hard to fail, eventually you're left with 3 or so possible words if you don't completely mess it up.  Also

didn't know you could have the same letter twice!

I've only failed twice, once was my very first game where I didn't really know what I was doing and another one was where I just hadn't realised there was another possible word early on.

I agree it's pretty difficult to fail. Having only 5 guesses would make it more interesting I think.
