J.Lisemore Posted 3 February 2025 Posted 3 February 2025 £10m for f****ing Mcateer? Why are we turning that down, he seems a good lad but he's definitely not the answer and there's no way we get more than that for his level of output
Lcfcwigstonblue Posted 3 February 2025 Posted 3 February 2025 Nobody coming in, time to enjoy the long winded relegation. 1
Sly Posted 3 February 2025 Posted 3 February 2025 If we sign no one today, it just makes the inevitable even more realistic. We desperately need a shot in the arm to put some life into an already dire situation. We are going down like a boxer who’s been paid to take a dive. 3

wardyfox86 Posted 3 February 2025 Posted 3 February 2025 We've had unbelievable offers coming in for our painfully average, not even young academy players. Seen countless players make moves to clubs you'd expect to be lower in the pecking order than us. And not a single deal looks likely. People use the term "don't know what you're doing" flippantly. But it seems our board have just failed upwards and genuinely have no idea how to run us. All overseen by a gutless child who shouldn't be left to run a corner shop. 1

They aren't unbelievable as we stand to make very little if the clubs involved don't achieve the obligation in the loans.

Any opportunity for money for players who are never going to cut it here, needs to be taken. Both Thomas and McAteer offer absolutely nothing to an already woeful squad.
LestaLad Posted 3 February 2025 Posted 3 February 2025 Here’s a rumour for the summer to keep you boys entertained.

It's the Councils fault they've demolished the market square. Where was Rudders supposed to set up his pitch?! 1
Rusko187 Posted 3 February 2025 Posted 3 February 2025 Wonder if Ruud blocked the move, we are short on wide players. No way someone is dumb enough to turn down that approach!

I think we would have jumped at the money upfront, I could still see him leaving if they come back with a better offer with money upfront.

Scotch Posted 3 February 2025 Posted 3 February 2025 Just now, chris1232 said: This could only happen if we allowed it. Recalls have to take place before a set date. Loan players can't just be recalled on deadline day without the club who holds the loan allowing it.

JimJams Posted 3 February 2025 Posted 3 February 2025 If we agreed to it we could get compensated! That's a few mill to put towards a 36 year old. 1

I’m for it tbh. Its kinda pointless because it doesn’t solve anything but we might as well bring him home 1

Guest Mickyblueeyes Posted 3 February 2025 Posted 3 February 2025 There was a question on here, I can’t remember who asked it, as to whether you’d take KDH back but lose Facundo. At the time I answered no way. Now, I think this club is desperate for something positive. I’d take it
