Only for a first choice keeper.  Maybe next summer.

 

Given their position I'd think that number was too high though.  They let Gassama go for less than £2mill, not sure why they'd be expecting 3 times that on a keeper.

If it was £5-6m I possibly could as its £1m on PSR but at the same time I could see us not doing so as we have bigger priorities IMO.

I hate myself for saying this but could be an opportunity to be absolutely ruthless, Wednesday need cash so offer £2m up front no sell on or add ons, just one up front payment, reckon they would have little option but too accept.

Alan Nixon links us to Pierce Charles in this. Their asking price is £8m. Rangers & Southampton are also interested. 

They ain’t getting 8 million for any player even if there worth it! Very good keeper and good with his feet ain’t he ? I’d be happy if this was true.

Apart from his feet as he put it out about 6 times - Mind we had a world class keeper who used to do that

and he won the prem!

Mads is good with his feet and put it out a lot last season.  Keepers who are good with their feet don't get much chance to show it when their team is pushed so far back they're down their throats.

Made him look good today, nearly everything at him. Did look confident though but Stols is just as good.  Not a position we need

I wasn't too convinced by him either. Most shots were straight at him. Granted the Daka one was decent. But he didn't look comfortable kicking the ball, I couldn't tell you why.

 

I think it was more our shooting that made him look better. Not a position we need urgently, and he'll go from starter to bench/3rd choice. He's better where he is.

Wasn’t particularly impressed with him.

Most of his saves were pretty much straight at him. His distribution was pretty awful.

Fumbled a few shots as well that he should have taken cleanly.

Would prefer the options we have.
