Everyone has to start somewhere, Dan Ashworth started as an academy Director. Pep started as an Academy coach and went straight to managing the first team.

Coaching a B team playing men's league football is not the same as being an academy coach.

He’s a fluid forward, who if Marti is going to stay, needs a fluid striker. loan. Proven in the league. Never ever has a signing made more sense. If I see this guy end up at Norwich or west brom I will actually explode Joel Piroe is one of those players that is just dreadful when you watch him. You know a player is rubbish when Leeds fans cant stand him despite being the top scorer in the championship last season. 2

But he’s more than good enough for us and vast improvement on what we have 1

Apart from that he walks around and doesnt contribute defensively. Considering how little we create for our strikers, there's a chance he's just a nothing player for us. 2
SB87_LCFC Posted 15 January Posted 15 January Dont think Piroe does anything for us in the current team and style. I actually think you will see Daka actually try more so he can try get a move in January, apparently he is one who has asked to leave this month from what I've been told - that's no use to us we want someone wanting to play for the shirt.

Scored more when he was in a midtable Swansea side 41 league goals over 2 seasons with Swansea who finished 15th and 10th 2

We are not a hard working team and that means we need a striker that does more than his fair share of the leg work, that is not Piroe. 3
indierich06 Posted 15 January Posted 15 January We've got more chance of getting a blowjob from the pope than getting Joel Piroe in, we're shopping for bargain basement shit like Lyndon Dykes! That's our market!

It’s an interesting debate really, and either side could be right. I actually don’t think it would be a bad thing for us to have a forward who just stays in the danger areas. If I was JJ it would drive me crazy that when he looks up he doesn’t have a forward ready to put away a chance because ayew has wondered off to play winger. we would need to improve across the board to make it work but I would rather have a lazy goal scorer than a work horse who gets 3-5 goals a season
Ryy Posted 16 January Posted 16 January About time for new thread! Always liked him as a player would love him personally
lcfc_forever Posted 16 January Posted 16 January Piroe would be an excellent signing, but it's not the best source. Sounds like Wilson is off to Saudi, doubt we were actually after him.
HankMarvin Posted 16 January Posted 16 January Someone capable of scoring at this level would be nice, but I guess it will depends on the finances or if we have any 1
Popular Post stu Posted 16 January Popular Post Posted 16 January Twitter thread surely... Also: While his current market valuation sits near the €15 million mark, sources suggest that a bid in the region of £13 million could be enough to tempt Leeds into a mid-season sale. For Leicester , the move represents a dual-purpose strategy: acquiring immediate goal-scoring depth while securing an asset with high future resale value. Two potential deal structures are currently being explored: A loan with an obligation to buy triggered by appearance-based clauses, or a structured deal featuring a lower base fee with heavy performance-related add-ons. 5
JimJams Posted 16 January Posted 16 January "Leicester are considering" means the square root of fxxk all unless Piroe is also considering us. And I'd have my doubts about that. 2

StanSP Posted 16 January Posted 16 January Piroe going to PSV seems the most likely. Apparently wanted to go back to Netherlands? 1
FosseSpark Posted 16 January Posted 16 January I have drawn up an attainable transfer list for us to target to completely revamp the starting line up. Purely based on getting a squad together who share the same surnames as previously succesful players for Leicester. I fail to see how this could be a worse transfer strategy than any of the ones deployed in the past 5 years. Tom KING - Everton Jack SIMPSON - Leyton Orient Keiron MORGAN - QPR Jack ELLIOT - Chicago Fire Liam WALSH - Luton Town Jack TAYLOR - Ipswich Town Harvey ELLIOT - Aston Villa Charlie LENNON - Middlesborough Charlie SAVAGE - Reading Reigan HESKEY - Man City Jaden HESKEY - Man City 1 1
