Gosh some are focusing on comments he made over a decade ago.

Let's focus on his managerial  style and achievements abit more

Same sort of logic that **** David Moyes applied for Zouma yesterday.

"Yeah he might've abused animals but he's a good footballer so what the **** do I care?"

The last thing we need is this kind of baggage after all the work we’ve done.

I also can’t see this because simply because Gattuso at the helm comes with Jorge Mendes dictating our recruitment.

I agree. We need a calm manager, Gattuso is both unproven and mental. There seems to be a growing consensus whereby Leicester fans want Rodgers to go. This is fine. But as others have rightly said, the next appointment is likely to make or break the next few seasons, we have to get it right.

One of my all time fav players but yeah, he's a bit of a bellend so I'd rather not.

But someone with his character is exactly what this group of players needs.... Just without the caveman opinions.

He’s not an awful manager, and he got decent enough results in Italy, but his football couldn’t be any further from his personality or how he played the game.

He has a very cautious approach, which can be pretty effective, but certainly goes against how the game is trending, especially in England.

That said, our board members clearly prefer a cooler head in charge of the squad. I do think, however, they may look toward someone who can establish a bit more of a connection with our supporters, that’s a quality we’ve been lacking for some time.

No thanks, bloke fell out with and left the Fiorentina job within a few weeks. Not what we'd need if we were to get rid of Rodgers. Enough people dislike Rodgers for trying to stray away from the clubs recruitment strategy, this guy fell out with a club because they wouldn't let him sign a load of Mendes players.
