against Randers, Youngster Lestyn Hughes

No not at all. My own opinion. I can't stand playing players out of position. Marc is not a right back, for use in a back four. No matter how desperate we are, I'd rather we dipped into our youth reserves, especially against a team like Randers than play Marc there.

Iestyn with an I (eye).

I'd much prefer Kevin or Amartey at RB in this. Don't know much about Hughes, but if VDC was ahead of him in the pecking order, then I wouldn't be throwing him into a game like this.

Don't care what else Rodger's does as long as he plays two up top and ditches this 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3, which both systems end up with Daka or Nacho isolated like spare pricks at a wedding.

Hughes also looks to be behind 18 year old Joe Wormleighton as well now

Madivadua plays right wing back for the under 23s at the moment…

....I guess you have little confidence in Randers!!!

I am assuming we are saving the other players for next Sunday.

Your guesses & assumptions aren’t far off @Sacrebleuits442!

As others have said, Ricardo shouldn’t be asked to play another 90.
Amartey needs a break. Vestergaard & Soyuncu need to play.

If we had an alternative to Thomas at LWB that’d be great, but maybe Albrighton could spend an hour at RWB then Ricardo comes on to play there while Kevin switches to LWB.

Tielemans to be rested for Sunday.

Any two from Choudhury KDH & Soumare in CM. If possible KDH doesn’t play 90.

Perez due a start, plays at his best in this kind of formation.

Iheanacho needs game time.

Lookman starts so Barnes can start Sunday.

Randers are beatable by any combination of players from our ECL squad. Doesn’t of course mean we will beat them, but we must take Sunday as seriously as Thursday!

Please do not F this up. The danish media will be unbearable and that Forest game is already enough failure for one season.

Any idea on travelling numbers?

Nope. Randers is a small club even in Danish terms though, so this is a massive game for them.

I'm gutted I can't add Randers to the list as well as Moscow which means that we need to batter them here so there's no need for a turn around in Denmark.

5-0

Home tickets are 'print at home'. Better contact the club pretty sharpish.

According to my confirmation email last week they are being sent by post 2nd class but that was a week ago and I’ve not had anything through yet.  I usually set print at home but there wasn’t an option when I bought mine.

He doesn't even get in for any of our youth sides.

Furry muff. I was just looking to see who could play in our full back positions, as I don’t want to use Ricardo, Thomas or Marc.

Sadly slim pickings in a back 4. Joe Wormleighton as a RWB is a possibility, I really like him. Albrighton though in a midfield diamond would be fine at RB vs these.

He was really good in the U18 match I watched the other week

They’ve been here since yesterday, so must be training somewhere.

Part of them not playing competitive for months is great, part of me thinks it helps them get their tactics spot on

Their tactics don't need to be sophisticated - just win corners and free kicks near our box, station big lumps in the 6 yard box and cross the ball to them. That gives them a great chance of a couple of goals even if they have about 10% possession in general play.

Pre-match Press Conference vs Randers - Wilf Ndidi

Ndidi on set-pieces

“I wouldn’t say it’s concentration, it's just one of those things. We work on it as much as possible. We are still trying to work on it. We are trying to concentrate more. I think it will be fine. We need to work a little bit harder.”

On Europa Conference League

“This is another great opportunity for us to be at our best. It’s good for the confidence. We can come out of something for the season.”

Win it?

“There is still hope, the season is still on. Anything can still happen.”

Randers been on two-month break?

“I don’t really think until the game starts, it doesn’t matter how long teams have played, it’s about the love of the game. They will be mentally and physically ready. We look forward to the game.”

Iheanacho relationship?

“The relationship with me and Kel is great. I have known him since we were very young, at Under-17s, it’s been amazing having him around.”

Playing in Europe?

“For me the exposure and the atmosphere and the opportunity and the feeling, it’s really good. Every player wants to play in Europe. It’s a great plus for your career.”

Coming back after AFCON disappointment?

“It’s not really difficult. Even if you win, you still have to come back. It’s a shift of focus. You have to let it go and look forward to what’s lying ahead.”

Playing with Tielemans?

“I enjoy every moment. Youri is a player I love. He plays great in the middle because of his technique. He’s really doing well. I’m just enjoying the moment. We complement each other.”

Future at Leicester?

“I am enjoying myself in Leicester. My family is here. My business degree is on hold after my daughter was born.”

Player reaction to being told they need to prove they're worthy by Rodgers?

“It’s the honest truth. The club is bigger than every player. We as players know what we want. We know what we want for the club, and what we want as players. It’s about the concentration of where you are and looking forward to those achievements you want as a team and as a player. It’s just a wake-up call for us for the manager to say those things and for us to concentrate more.”

Did players need wake-up call?

“Yeah, we needed it. He (Rodgers) is always there for us. He’s been there for us, so yeah, we needed it.”

Do you copy and paste these or write them up yourself?

Either way nice one!
