Randers are playing tonight, so less of a turnaround than us. However, Thursday will be their biggest ever match so I am sure they will be firing.

Their manager quoted as saying they just want to beat us for a win to their fans.

Thought their game tonight is quite important as it would give them a commanding position for the top six and all but qualify them for it

My excuse to fcuk off and enjoy myself from Wednesday for a few days.

Not in a position to snub watching your team in Europe

And....a chance of playing in the Europa League next season if we win it !

Look we are gonna win this of course we are ffs! The only way we don’t is we completely drop out pants and let the Randy’s bugger us 5-0. It ain’t gonna happen. We have been awful at times this season but this would take the biscuit and it would be epic. No chance . Sure ‘IF’ we fail than I think Rogers will quit. It’s too embarrassing to contemplate. Let’s win the game comfortably and get back home with no further injuries. All eyes on burnley. That warhorse guy they bought worries me!

You can bet their camp is looking at videos of forest and showing that it’s possible to turn the tie around.

Would only take an early goal to give them a big chance

Do you believe we're too big as a club to win some European silverware?

I think its tinpot yes.

I understand it is nice to pop into Europe and visit some nice new places midweek, however it's also a distraction that doesn't compare to next seasons premier league campaign.

Just my opinion!

So you'd rather come 8th next season than 7th?

Winning the tin pot gets us into the Europa next season or would you prefer not to be in that either?

Just shows how low in confidence we are as a club right now. From the players to the coaches and fans. Tired of the negativity and I’ll hold my hand up and admit I’ve been pretty pessimistic too. Just can’t keep sulking. Season isn’t over we can still all pull together and finish strong. I’m not ready to throw in the towel neither should anyone else. COYF :chant::scarf:

does anyone remember Arsenal early this season? They looked down and out. Look where they are now. We can do the same.

😂 To be honest I'm a cantankerous bar steward who is sooo fed up of failure.

Now we have to play in the 3rd tier of European competition. Legia away!

I know how I see it but there's no point in labouring the points.

I want the club to progress, and do as well as possible in the most efficient way.

For me that is to go back to recruiting very well, and get back to winning more games in the league.  We don't need these fruitless distractions.

What will being in this competition or even the Europa league, get us in the medium term? Distracted and more tired is a certainty, with the added demands.

Will it give the club sufficient profile, the better players will choose to play here? I'd suggest that's highly doubtful.

You lost me at S...!

But that's not a bad shout. I can see Hamza playing RB or CB with Mendy in CM, and expect Barnes to start ahead of Lookman, but otherwise don't think you'll be far out. Now wait and see we're both wrong by about 6 player come the day!

If we're close on the tea, and three goals ahead or better by HT, expect all subs to be used, and some to be academy players.

The difference between us and Arsenal is that they had 30 games and no distractions (like Europe) and we have 15 games and Europe.

Not much point in doing well in the PL if you don’t want to stay in the Europa League or are you only happy with qualifying for the CL?

Mendy isn’t in the European squad.
I’d be surprised if Barnes travels if he’s carrying a knock, give him an extra rest before Burnley.

You’re right though I’ll probably be about 6 players out.

So sounds to me like it's CL or nothing, for you?

I think being in Europe regularly will give us the profile. And players will come. Daka went from RB Salzburg in the Champions League to us, in the Europa League...

There isn't the snobbery about the EL on the continent like there is in England.

Being in the EL regularly will definitely boost our profile and help get better players.

I'd go with: Schmeichel, Choudhury, Vestergaard, Soyuncu, Albrighton, Soumare, Tielemans, Maddison, Perez, Ihenacho, Lookman

We need to rest Ricardo and Thomas, there is no back up for either of them. Wouldn't be surprised to see Lookman and Barnes play a half each

Wages & PL platform.

Bigger draws than Europa league football.
