I think we'd be naive to think we're not at least part of the relegation conversation. No wins in 2022 and shipping goals for fun, we're not a million miles off.

I don't think we will be relegated though.

I just looked it up - a total of 87 goals in our 46 games that season. Seems fitting that we got relegated with a 0-0 draw.

Only conceded 45 in 46 games . But only scored 42 .

Yes we're playing well, but we're playing well and not winning. So I am a little worried. We've also spectacularly collapsed more than once this year which doesn't bode well for if we get sucked in to a real battle.

Well, it ain’t looking good is it.

We can’t defend, and this blind optimism that our form will suddenly drastically turn once Fofana is back is naive. Burnley is a monster game for us, lose, and we’re in huge trouble. Genuinely.

I’m Still looking at top half finish - be v surprised if we end up below 12th

why are some so quick to push the negative narrative

two/three games in hand on many

and I don’t expect a win next Tuesday - it’s years since we won there ……

We’re definitely candidates for relegation. It’s almost identical to the season we went down to league one, we just couldn't defend…

Lose against Burnley and the club really don’t have a choice, Rodgers will have to be sacked otherwise he will send us down. And I genuinely don’t think we will beat Burnley, they’re everything we can’t cope with at the moment, big nasty bastards who are good in the air.

When you get something so wrong it kind of takes away the belief the rest of the post is correct

Leeds, Watford & Norwich to go down, stop worrying.

Brentford are also worse than us so we should be fine, next two prem games are big games though.

Not worried but definitely concerned we have made a pigs ear of this season……

I’m not really sure there is a positive narrative. It’s grim anywhere you look.

Not really. The facts and form for this season speak for itself.

?? The season we got relegated to League One we had the second best defence in the league. Our problem was that we scored too few goals.

Does anyone know what we’re predicted to finish on based on average points per game?

44.6 points at the moment

But 1 win can boost your points per game quite a bit at the moment, beat Burnley and it would go up to 47.5 points

Lose on Tuesday and Burnley also win on Saturday then the gap is 1 point

No, it won't be. Burnley would be well out of the relegation zone in that case.

The fact that this is even a conversation is very, very telling. We are complete and utter kak. Still won’t go down though.
