Thoroughly sick of the injuries this year, it’s just ruined the season

It hit home recently when we played Wolves, and it struck me they had a fully fit squad with all players available for selection. When was the last time we were able to say that?

We could be without 7 senior players tomorrow (including 6 defenders) and it just feels perfectly normal

Agree. It's come to the stage that if we were to only have 4 first teamers put it would feel euphoric.

Our injuries are improving but so bad it's STILL equivalent to Liverpool missing tomorrow TAA, Van Dijk, Matip and Robertson plus Salah coming back midweek after a long lay off

No Maddison will be a huge blow if he's out. We need KDH to start to improve his creative side and Tielemans to rediscover his.

Perez is the deputy for Maddison. He's more than capable of playing the creative role as impact sub. That's  exactly whats he's employed for, as understudy to Madders

If Leeds give Tielemans the space they gave spurs's midfield last week he will have a field day.

They also couldn't cope with how Kane was dropping deep, so would like to see Kel up to with Vardy as he does that so well.

Wasn't there a suggestion that game time is being limited for Perez due to the triggering of an appearance payment clause in the contract with NUFC?

I dunno. But would be ironic since last season we were all convinced his continued selection was down to a clause that he HAD to play x amount of appearances!

So we now only have Pereira, Justin, Castagne, Evans, Fofana and Maddison out injured.

That's 3 of our 4 full backs, our best two centre backs and our most creative goal scoring midfielder. Jeez. At least we'll have a partially fit Vardy. (not so) small mercies.

Perez has 1 goal and 1 assist in a year, he's not the deputy for anything other than a dog shit bin.

Well last season it was that he had to play because his contract said he needed to start a certain number of games!

the appearance clause is more plausible….

Supposed team for tomorrow…

That's a horrible team at first glance. Lacking in creativity and pace. A back 5 would be a poor decision and a midfield diamond would be better suited picking Iheanacho to play up top with Vardy and Barnes in behind them both.

Hamza playing RB would be my guess, Albrighton at RM in a 4-3-3

Depends if he is up for it.
