A win and finally a clean sheet away. Onto the next…

Game changers JM10 and Vardy come

in for me, but otherwise a bit of consistency. Would keep the 3 in midfield for now for a bit more solidity, with Madders in a more advanced role. Daka can then come in for Vards in the UECL games as our Europe specialist to keep both fresh. Assuming Ricardo is out for this but if it was just precautionary could come back in for the Rennes game. Lookman another who can come in for next Thurs game.

                        Schmeichel

Albrighton - Amartey - Söyüncü - Thomas

             Tielemans - Ndidi - KDH

         Maddison   -   Vardy   -   Barnes

For me, I'd hold Vardy back for another game. Need to be careful and start him against Rennes. Daka has been disappointing to an extent recently but against Leeds I reckon he will get chances.

Question is whether Ricardo is fit, and whether Maddison plays from the right of a front 3 or replaces Tielemans. I'd probably go with the front 3.

Vardy would be bang up for Leeds though.

I think we should start him, and if winning look to bring him off if needed.

Need to back up last nights solid win with another. It'll help with momentum as well as confidence.

Doesn't need to be convincing but just another 3 points. Yesterday there seemed to be much more confidence flowing through the side. I hope we've turned a corner and can get a decent performance on Saturday rewarded with a win.

Harvey Barnes absolutely loves a goal against this lot, go get us another win Harvey.

If it wasn't for Pope he would have had 1 or 2 yesterday, the Leeds keeper is no way as good as Pope so I think he will get goals against them

I think Vardy & Madders definitely need to start.

They are the most reliable in terms of finding the net and they seem to bring out the best in other players.

It wasn't coincidence we score 2 when Vardy comes on. Although his header seemed 'easy' - no one else in our squad would have been in the right position.

We need to go full strength for some momentum.

Think we shouldn't start with Vardy so soon as he's just coming back from alot of time out. We don't want the same thing that happened to Justin to happen to Vardy.

Bring Vardy on at the beginning of the second half to put the worry in the Leeds players minds

...would be better dropping Tielemans and bringing Maddison into the midfield three with Lookman coming in as a Right Forward.

We seem to be still shoehorning players into the team, we really now should be looking to ask the hard questions and making real decisions on how we want this team to play and the best players available to make it work.

I honestly cannot see why you would use Tielemans in that team setup.

Rodgers indulgence for putting him in every game even when he has consistently been poor, does Tielemans no favours and only slows up his ability to mature on the pitch.

He pretty much needs to take a look at his game and figure out why he performs so poorly when pressed, why he does not lead on the pitch, by influencing other players around him.

I would go 4231 but that means dropping Youri on current form.

Same and would be fine with dropping him.

Thomas
Cags
Our ****ing CB
Ricardo

Wilf
KDH

Barnes
Maddison
Albrighton or Lookman

Vards

....too much too soon, we keep on doing this and it keeps on leading to long term lay offs!!!

Bring Vardy on second half, give him 20 minutes, let's just ease him back in, rather than, ease him back into the treatment room.

Cannot wait for this soccer exhibition, hopefully we defend our danger box zone as well as we did yesterday. Go team!

And hopefully the goal shooters can do some goals against their net minder

Kasper Schmeichel is definitely one of the top 5 goal tenders in the division.

Nice to feel more positive ahead of a match :). Whilst he did well yesterday, I think we need to ease Vardy in a bit more gently.

I would go...

Kasper

Albrighton Amartey Cags Thomas

Wilf KDH

Lookman Maddison Barnes

Nacho

Hopefully with Maddison playing a central more advanced role Nacho will be less isolated. Bring on Vardy around 60 mins.

Let’s not rush Vardy back too soon and play him in every game possible. Let’s keep his body in good shape for the Europa league games which is our pathway to Europa next year.
