Didn't Taylor refuse to spend a certain amount on Eidur Gudjohnsen and pushed for Akinbiyi instead at a much higher price?

To be honest, there aren't that many that we've rejected that have gone on to be top players. Not even that many we have sold. Obvs Banks, Shilton, Clarke, Lineker, Smith, McAllister, Kante, Mahrez. OK quite a few then :blush:

Good player, but he’s obviously not on the same level as Vardy, I’m not sure he’s any better than Nacho or Daka either really. I wouldn’t say we really missed out by not keeping him.

 

Same with Che Adams. I’m not sure they’d get into Leicester’s side anyway.

Funnily enough I've just this week finished reading his autobiography. He didn't mention us, but did say Coventry turned him down for that reason. Also on a side note, the crap he had to put up with when he went back to Newcastle, working for Mike Ashley and his cronies was absolutely unreal. Dennis Wise don't come out of it too well either. It's  no wonder the Geordies hated Ashley so much!

However, the well known Scotsman from Oadby wouldn't have cost us £50m, unlike the other pair (who are both better players).
