Football punditry is so odd, most of the time we're and after thought and here we're being praised despite being ****ing awful

BT analysis of European games is pretty awful to be hobest

Yep 89th minute when it's too late

Really?

Nacho will be taken off after 63 minutes - it was written in the game plan 6 weeks ago, why would Rodgers change the plan

Oh for goodness' sake. They're not playing well today, but they hardly fired the ball into the net did they?

Rooting for Ricardo to rampage forward and set up Barnes for a netburster in the second half. Ideally in PSV's net.

Ricardo looks like his rampaging days are behind him. Sadly he looks a bit Fernando Torres. Awesome pre-injury.  Off it after.

Barnes cannot get past Junior in 3 halves so far. He has had him in his pocket for 135 minutes now in this tie. Lookman for Barnes on the LW. Play Barnes RW if anywhere.

By that metric there’s only one player that hasn’t been in the pocket of a defender, on both sides, and he only got in because we cocked it up

I dont care what everyone else does.

We very rarely look good when doing this. Plus it's boring shite football that ends up putting us in danger.

We look miles better when on the front foot.

Totally agree

I was being facetious to those who say this in response

First 10 minutes they looked nervous but Brendan is too conservative and we don't grasp the nettle

You know Brendan isn’t playing right?

Cant believe I'm saying this but Jenas is actually alright as a football presenter. Pleasantly surprised seeing as he's so poor as a co-commentator.

Too careless with the ball at both ends of the bitch. Need to exert a bit of control and get Maddison on the ball with some movement ahead of him. Still winnable this.

We simply have to at this rate, we are 25 mins from basically every attacker coming off the bench

I still think we’ll beat PSV tonight. Bookmark this and it shall be so!

PSV aren't that good - it's just we've made some bad decisions and poor errors at both ends. Game is still there if we can be clinical for once and make the last pass or shot count.

They are targeting Youri , closing him down. Needs a tactical switch with KDH who is more robust. Bet BR doesn't change anything, we go 2 down  then he takes off Nacho. BR has a pretty rubbish record in Europe  and here we see why.

Swapping Tielemans with KDH won’t do anything. The 4-2-3-1 double pivot is the problem and it was pretty obvious it wasn’t going to work with no recognised defensive midfielder.

We get 5, and have Perez, Lookman, Daka and Justin on the bench to help us become more attacking

If we are pumping balls forwards at 85+ mins arguably Vestergaard would be a good option up top 🤣

Our biggest issue is we’ve got nothing beyond Nacho. He’s dropping so deep to pick up the ball we have nothing upfront.

For me we have to switch to a back 5 if we want to get goals. Sometimes we concede possession easily, but we’re more of a threat in behind.

Barnes is offering nothing at all, Nacho is dropping too deep and Maddison is way out of the game.

We are allowing an average PSV team to take this game.

I watched Barnes vs Junior last week as they were right in front of me. Junior has done his homework on Barnes, let someone else try.
