On paper, some decent additions for Forest there. I don't particularly rate many of their squad as being PL quality so they'll certainly need a few more, but those 3 + Henderson would be a very good start for them.

Yeah agree mate, on paper Awoniyi, Niakhate, Williams and Henderson are good additions.

I don't think we'd turn our nose up at any of those 4 tbh?

Probably Awoniyi and Williams because we don’t need them

Henderson if only Kasper was leaving

Would definitely take Niakhate

Yeah fair comment, the lack of news is masking desperate 😂

football has progressed so much. I remember when we got promoted and signed Nalis, bent, ben thatcher, dabizas and a lot more garbage (other than sir les)

These days you basically pick off top talent from all over the globe. It’s a lot easier to close the gap with some good scouting

West Ham now preparing £30mill bid for Broja.

Early days but doesn't half feel like we are going to get left behind at a serious rate

Where on earth are they getting all this money from? Surely this can only end in tears.

It’s not about what we spend.
it’s not about when we spend.
It’s about ensuring we get the right quality.

I’d rather we only spent £2,000,000 on the last day of the window and pulled in another Kante, Mahrez or Vardy.

Trust the process.

Its an interesting one, as they should be not dissimilar to us in terms of time in the PL/wages inflation. Maybe their stadium allows them to borrow more as they can repay more (in line with FFP)   :dunno:

That's OK providing we can find those players, but we haven't really done that in recent years. Fofana is our best signing in the last few years and he cost 30 odd million. To trust the process of finding those unheralded talented players like Kante, Mahrez and Vardy and getting them at a bargain price, the recruitment team have to be top quality, and judging from recent times I dont think ours are now.  I'm a little concerned at the moment, in terms of our recruitment which has been poor recently, and also because it feels like by trying to do it the right way, whether that be through choice or because we don't have a pot to piss in, we are going to be left behind, and start going backwards if we are not careful. We as a club can not become comfortable and complacent, because we will end up like Stoke, back in the Championship if we do.

And the rumour is that the dildo brothers will sell up next year and take over Birmingham again (they’ve already installed bassini).

it seeems that West Ham are here to stay.  The top six could well become the top ten once pep and klopp have had enough ……. But the big six will hang onto their status because they’ll make sure of that!

Decent signing that, did well for me on my career mode anyway  😂

I would be slightly worried if I was a man u fan. Something about a manager only trying to sign his ex players would alarm me.

Especially as they are coming from a division that typically players struggle to step up from.

This thread is absolutely harrowing now. Just imagine how bad things would be if we didn't get to the semi's of the Conference League or get 8th instead of 14th like we were heading for. Probably have gone bust.
