Florentino Perez says Haaland wouldn't have started for Real if he'd have moved there. He has a bit of a point as Benzema is in the form of his career at the moment but he's so salty I love it.

 

He's also been prattling on again about Mbappe recently. Apparently Mbappe has 'changed his dream' and is a 'different player' than the one who wanted to go to Real a few weeks ago and throughout last summer, and Perez doesn't want this Mbappe at his club.

 

He's so rattled. This and the whole Super League thing is so intriguing. Real want to stay as the moneyed top dog of European football who can attract anyone, who can buy players that even used to play for Barcelona, like Ronaldo Nazario, or even buy players directly from Barcelona, like Luis Figo.

 

Times are changing for better or worse and it's like Perez is just shouting like a guy on a street corner in a home-made sandwich board with 'THE END IS NIGH!' written on it.

Or our targets are more sought after and have bigger fish in for them. That it’s certainly the case on CDK and most likely someone of Colwill’s statute.

Maybe the idea is to aim high on that sort of player, fail in the pursuit of the majority but get the odd one over the line.

I just went to the start of the transfer section. Took me back to 2014. Thank god we are here now. It gave my head a wobble. I am optimistic again lol.
