Kasper is a big part of this problem unfortunately. 

You can't blame Kasper for the awful zonal marking we adopted for months on end, then the switch to man marking where we insist on putting our wing backs against giants! Not mentioning that we literally have shortest back line ever.

If nothing else it's more likely showcasing him than any rift with Kasper, though who knows.

He's the captain. BR wouldn't effectively demote him unless there were serious issues. I reckon he's off personally.

Presume this is some sort of negotiating re contract winding down. Seems a bit odd but expect Kasper will start in midweek.

 

Disappointed there aren't any youngsters given a go on the bench. Seems like a wasted opportunity.

I just think because we aren’t a tall side he should be more commanding, it’s often mentioned that he’s glued to his line. I take your initial point though.

Especially given he says he's told a number of players to find moves elsewhere this summer, so some of those are on the bench today unless he's only told Vestergaard, Soumare and Bertrand. Would have been nice to have Braybrooke or Wanya Marca on there and get them on for Youri or KDH after 60 mins.

So Kasper plays the best he’s played in ages against Norwich, and we bring on Danny pissing Ward - one of the main culprits for our loss to Forest. Ridiculous.

Seems a bit shit to drop him when he's on 149. At least let him get to 150.

 

Wouldn't surprise me if there's more to it. Kasper is our captain and never gets dropped.

It's not about blame, it's about identifying our ageing goalkeeper's glaring weakness and planning to improve on it.
