phoneticerror Posted 20 May 2022 Posted 20 May 2022 Interesting… Would be surprised if he went with us over West Ham. 1
Fox92 Posted 20 May 2022 Posted 20 May 2022 Would take him on a free. Always thought he's a decent goalkeeper. 1

Popular Post moore_94 Posted 20 May 2022 Popular Post Posted 20 May 2022 No thanks, rather give Iversen a go over him Had a poor season in the Championship as well 17
Popular Post Saxondale Posted 20 May 2022 Popular Post Posted 20 May 2022 Iversen has been stand-out good in the Championship this season. Surely it’s time we either give him a serious chance here or let him move to a club who will make him, their first choice. Johnstone isn’t bad, but I think we have a better keeper in Iversen. 8
Dusty Posted 20 May 2022 Posted 20 May 2022 My mates a Brom fan and only refers to him as flappy Sam. I think we can do better.
AKCJ Posted 20 May 2022 Posted 20 May 2022 Not for me unless Ward and Schmeichel both want to go. For a free you can't go wrong for a Ward replacement.
FoxinNotts Posted 20 May 2022 Posted 20 May 2022 If Schmeichel goes, think we can expect to chop and change our keeper abit next season, giving Ward and maybe two others the chance to prove them selves. Probably the most cost effective way to do this would be to have someone like Johnstone come in, then have Iversen, Ward and Johnstone battle it out 1

Which to some extent is a pretty healthy position to be in... 2
UniFox21 Posted 20 May 2022 Posted 20 May 2022 Lot of keeper links this year, wonder if there's legs to Kasper or Ward moving on 1

Problem is, we're clearly shopping around for goalies at the minute which suggests that 1) Kasper could be leaving and 2) We don't want Iversen as our first choice goalie From what Ive heard from Preston fans, Iversen is basically a young Schmeichel - brilliant shot stopper but weak in the very same areas as Kasper 1

Bring in Pickford or Henderson, we need to build from the back, we need to have the foundations in place. Number #2s struggle to make #1s unless they move clubs, we appear to be accumulating keepers at a fair rate at the moment, with none being exceptional right at this moment.

Dahnsouff Posted 20 May 2022 Posted 20 May 2022 Sounds too me like Iversen will be sold to raise funds as he is quite saleable right now 1

Leicesterpool Posted 20 May 2022 Posted 20 May 2022 Back in the summer I would have said deffo "Yes" he's been outstanding for both West Brom and England, but he's had stinker of a season at Albion. Not sure on this if honest now.
