We still need to fcuk a load of players off though. But let's say we don't get rid of any I reckon we've still £20-30m for a RW and get a LCB in on loan.

It is surprising, I think, given all the talk of a refresh, that the Club hasn’t moved out anyone.

Rudkin and team should have been working on identifying and lining up departures for months. Maybe they have and no one wants our fringe players.

The worry is given the lack of interest we will need to pay up contracts or pay a % of wages to move anyone out this Summer.

From the outside It seems the club are doing the opposite to previous seasons, playing the waiting game.  I think Rodgers said that we were going for fringe players at the so called top six, so we just have to be patient and wait for the inevitable panic buys later on.  Or the club doesn't have any money and they are trying to flog our unwanted, but no one is buying.  Next season could be an even longer than the last one!  Although normally in my experience, Leicester are a club that does things a**e about tit, so the pessimism about next season means it is going to be a good one.

I remember Brendan bragging when getting business done early - of course, HE has more time to work with the new players for them to understand HIS ideas.

These things come back and bite and you look disorganised and clueless the next season when you don't do what you preached previously.

In the final analysis, adding deadwood last summer has done us up like a kipper.  This window could well end up a disaster.  As as the powers at be learn to listen to FT on recruitment, things will improve:ph34r:

At least we haven't signed a shit player yet though....

The only saving grace thus far.  Winks and Keane may change that though….

I know I'm not the most patient of people but can we just do something?! Sell someone, loan someone, sign someone........please 😜🤪

If they are rushed, they will most likely sign some duffer looking for a pension top-up. They have previous. Frustrating as it is,  we cannot afford to add to the existing pile of deadwood and need to avoid recreating Sherwood Forest down at Seagrave.

That’s very logical and correct, but that doesn’t help the frustration.

There is often a lot of talk about how “big” we are and where we are relative to the top six biggest teams. There is nothing that reinforces our position in the food chain more than a transfer window. We’ve got nothing like the pulling power and finances of the biggest clubs and have to shop around carefully. Even many other mid-size clubs have got greater flexibility than us currently.

It’s a sombering mood at the moment and a wake up call for some of us who get ahead of ourselves. We compete for top six by exception.

@Ric Flair on suicide watch

Well I guess the proof is in the pudding. If this talented young guy starts tearing defences up in the premier league all the recruiting departments (not just ours) will look and feel like right plonkers!

now that I have that YouTube clip burned into my memory I’m not looking forward to playing palace with this guy making a fool of our defence. Thank god we got lil wes back atleast!

I think Brendan's talk of a summer rebuild hasn't helped .......

It wasn't just a single mention of it after a particularly hurtful loss either... He seemed to bang on about it at every opportunity for weeks which meant that the RL chumps and the other local commentators got all in a tizz about it.

It's now all beginning to look a bit silly.

Almost as silly as someone writing this with 2 months left of the window.

I wish LCFCtv would release a video on the daily work of the Recruitment Team instead of one showing us Harvey Barnes humming ‘Running up that hill’.

I suspect they spend most of the time laughing at the Transfer Forum on FT.

First 30 secs or so - This is how I imagine Kurnawan got so many goals from DMC that season!
