It's not just the mood around transfers, it's also the mood around injuries and the delays with the stadium expansion. 

 

It will get much worse if we get off to a bad start.

I've moved from the normal area I sat as a member in SK2 to be with like minded people in SK1. Personally I am great believer in getting behind your team and that this will then spur them on and encourage them to try harder. But, that's my personal perspective and whilst it may not be the same as others I would hope that as 'fans' this is why we go to games, to support our team. If not, I would question why you actually go?

 

The biggest negativity is when people start moaning and I cant see how for one moment that can be a positive, no matter the situation. We know we have players whose heads are trying to be turned, but as many keep pointing out they are still contracted to the club and in some instances we have players that with a World Cup looming, actual performance is seriously important. If you sit on the bench week in and week out you place in any starting 11 for your country will be in jeopardy.

 

The amount of negativity around the club in general, manager, transfers both in and out, debt, stadium expansion etc is slowly building momentum and this can be a serious issue as it can consume fans and their feelings and this just grows and grows.

Any way for Union FS or someone at the club maybe to organise a camera videoing the section for the whole 90 mins and maybe capture goal reactions etc to be uploaded after games?

Why on earth would anyone watch 90 mins of people watching other people play football. :blink:

I'll be a keen listener from the other side of the ground on Sunday. As a member I might start getting tickets there if its a success, the Mrs likes a good sing song to so that would be 2 more to your collection. My main issue is I last had a season ticket like 10 years ago, I got a pcv license which ment working most Saturdays so just stopped going all together. For what ever reason my Mrs who is originally from Surrey decided let's start going, so when I can I now do. Lots of songs many I don't know, you hear them from a distance but don't catch the words. On our way took me til Newcastle away to get ffs and is a great example of our crowd in a whole. We can all hear the on our way as its slow and obvious, the faster parts you can't hear so everyone sings on our way then goes silent or mumbles 🤣 if you want songs to take and make their way around, they need to be slower than most we got. It's probably why leicester leicester leicester remains the firm crowd warmer. If all else fails bring in a ghetto blaster, most seem to like music :dunno:

I guess we shouldn't criticise too much it was the first game, but i have to say it sounded poor but i think the section is way too small.  I know I'm in dream world but i wish they could get behind the goal it would be so much better.  The goal 'celebrations' we have are the lamest in the league.

Pretty embarrassing really, like the rest of the day.

The section itself made quite a bit of noise and I think is a good idea. Unfortunately I just don't think it's going to improve the atmosphere overall, fans are too reluctant to get involved and the current style of play really doesn't lend to generating any king of excitement in the stands.

I'm in SK2 and it was a definite improvement on most of the efforts last season, aided by the lack of being drowned out by clappers. A steady start and will only improve I think, keep at it lads.

SK3 looked absolutely bouncing today.

There was even less coming from SK3 all in all it was a quiet atmosphere on the whole. Doesn't help with no counter attacking or hefty challenges getting the crowd going.
