He had a shocker the week before against Swindon.  All a learning experience for him though, that's the idea of the loan.

They only allow 5 subs in National League unfortunately so I don’t think teams bother using a spot on a keeper

...apparently, he was their #1 target for the summer, which explains him going straight in!!!

He seemed a bit heavy in pre-season, perhaps too much time in the gym, which seemed to have curtailed his pace. He is a good player, let us hope he hasn't picked up some bad advice.

i heard george hirst was unlucky today, apparently he was completely staved of service but did what he could well. Hopefully this isn’t a knock to him and he keeps his starting spot
