Talk sport has to have some of the most tw@ful amount of pundits alike Danny Mills who recons Madders should go to a step up club Newcastle when other pundits state it’s a step down as Leicester will be relegated this season ( Fuch off Danny Mills!!), who the Fuch do these Cockwombles think by touting our players to other clubs slating us just because we haven’t made a signing yet in the transfer window ??

Pretty simple really. The majority of football fans are one-eyed fickle arses. You'll admire and like a pundit until they say something bad about us, then you'll turn on them instantly, call them crap, uninformed, has an agenda. It's petty nonsense really from fans. You can see numerous examples of this on this forum, but it's not just us. All fans of all teams are so skittish to anything even a tiny bit critical. As said before, if you want glowing praise, hit up LCFC TV.

Yes, there are clear WUM pundits. Usually working for organisations who breed in stirring the pot and doing exactly what they know you'll do. Fall for it hook, line and sinker, screaming like banshees on forums, Twitter and sharing their extreme opinions to make their organisations money. Just remember that what they say about us will be forgotten very quickly, they're always desperate to move onto the next thing.

Find a set of pundits/journalists whose opinions you respect, find a stronger skin to be able to listen to, or read criticism about your team. Be prepared to ignore it, be prepared to disagree with it. But Jesus wept learn to accept not all opinions about the club will always be glowing. This is not 2015/16.

Wasn't it last year when Ricci, big Wilf and even Evans were going to be off to bigger and better things. This year its little Wilf, Soyonchu, Maddison, Tielemans, Choudhury (remember that from the start of the window?), Barnes, Schmeichel, Castagne and the friggin tea boy. If the pundits got over their I used to play for a big club once, a long time ago, syndrome and realised every club in the EPL is now a big club then some sense might prevail. Otherwise, we'd be turning out for the five a side league next week.

You're playing right into their hands. They spout this shit about everyone in rotation to get people talking about their show and their station. It works a treat and people fall for it every single time.

The worst thing about Danny Mills is not what he says but the fact he has to let off a little 'sigh' every 2 seconds.

Mills does seem to have a dislike of Leicester. Can't imagine him saying the same thing about Leeds. This is one person we can ignore as opposed to a Nicola Sturgeon in the politics thread for example.

Don't listen to Talksport or shit like that and you'll not hear it.

It's the same as newspapers, you wouldn't pick up The Sun or The Daily Mail because it's a load of rubbish.

Every pundit and every football gossip column are all the same. They all have a 'big club' mentality. They will always be trying to sell of our players to the so called 'top clubs'.

They don't though. This is just the weird attitude some of our fans have, same as the ones that used to cry about Sky not having pictures of our players alongside top 6 players.

I listen to BBC 5 Live and the pundits/reporters on there cover all the football league and there's no trace of bias towards the top 6 of the Premier League. People just like to slate pundits when they say something they don't want to hear, but on another day they'll agree with them. Just don't listen or read if it winds you up, half of them make a living from winding people up.

It’d be so easy to improve the punditry output but broadcasters are either stupid or boring.

Being a rubbish player isn’t a barrier to bring a pundit as Mills has proved. Simon Jordan is interesting because he provides an actually insightful perspective.

Current and former managers, coaches, analysts, directors, scouts, consultants, journalists, writers and even (erudite) fans  would be much better.

Instead the media channels rely on the proven (shitty) formula of mediocre ex pros.

Danny Higginbotham and Pat Nevin are both ex pros that played at good/elite levels and prove sharp analysis. Instead we get Danny Mills, Clinton Morrison & O’Hara who are waaank pundits and don’t even have illustrious playing careers to fall back on.

I’d much rather hear what Michael Cix has to say - I’d imagine he’s probably a lot cheaper than some of the boring cliché pricks too.

Clinton Morrison actually makes me yearn for Andy Townsend, he is that bad.

Much to the chagrin of some, Emma Hayes is one of the best pundits. Tells you why you have seen what you've seen, instead of just doing the audio description person's job!

Agreed, Hayes is good tactically. If broadcasters are going to push for female commentators and pundits they ought to choose the better ones.

Talksport (someone called Cameron) saying Rodgers will walk if he isn't backed.

Yeah, he'll just give up £30 million quid like that.
