Went to see Stockport county v Tranmere Saturday. Fantastic match, end to end with terrific atmosphere in a good old traditional ground. Not a bad old town Stockport, plenty of pubs pre match.

Was at Leyton Orient v Wimbledon on Saturday a bit scrappy with not many clear cut chances. Took the train/tube to Stratford and walked from there.

George Moncur scored the only goal who I remember seeing turn out for Colchester, on loan from West Ham I think,  against Bristol Rover on a freezing cold December afternoon years ago.

Really good selection of food at Orient, Nacho's with Cheese, Chilli, Salsa, however you like it really, Chilli hotdogs and a range of pies plus the east end favourite Pie, Mash and Liquor.  I have tried it in the past, it's not bad but I prefer gravy.

Had the Chicken and Mushroom at half time, I think they are from a local firm Goddards, nice crisp pastry top and some really good lumps of chicken. 9/10.

Got offered a free pint of IPA as there was a problem with the pumps on the first pint, had a bit of too much head.

Had Ferencvaros tickets booked for a weekend I’m in Budapest, then they change the game to Sunday night after we’ve flown out..so tv f4cks about with the Hungarian league too. If city don’t get to the fa cup semi I will pull the trigger on AC Milan v lecce. Cheap flights, tickets easy to come by and not many chances left to visit the san siro

Knocking it down and building a new stadium, similar to what Spurs did

Need to visit myself in the next 12 months, I think they'll still play there for another 3/4 years though.

Quite an afternoon in Wien. Far removed from the sensibilities of the inner Stadt. As impressive atmosphere I've been for displays etc. Not much needle in and around the ground pre match except after when Rapid threw a flare into a subway carriage. Mid-through the second half they were pissed off with their teams performance, so let off loads of pyro - flung a firework and hit one of their own members staff on the head. I missed the half time pyro show you see there. Austria led with a back to the future tifo - referencing Rapid living in the past but also Austria needing to flip up the history books by getting a home win. Austria needed a win to assure themselves a place in the top six (and another couple of derbies). Do find it intriguing how ultras reference English language pop culture a lot! Rapid at Sturm Graz two weeks ago referred to the Shining.

Not quite the best atmosphere I have been but highly recommend it. Edinburgh hopefully next and the more quaint surroundings of Ipswich Wanderers on Saturday.

Edinburgh derby ticket secured

Shame it got moved to 12.30 k/off but should still be tasty - especially given position of the clubs

The scene in scotland is great, i doubt the early K.O will make any difference, too much passion up there to have an effect.  Have a great time, i'm sure it will be memorable.

Anyone really into ground hopping this is worth a look.

It's a charity cup which stretches 100 years - the level is very low but it's played at a corker of a ground where no team plays (like an old fashioned social sports club).

Played Easter Monday near Rotherham

It's been moved so that they can do PPV.

Shame its not on Sky.

There's a pub in Gorgie open at 6am (well, it was last weekend) that specialises in early kick offs if you are thirsty 😁

First half of F1 probably the best anyway.

Meant to be on my way to Yeovil v Southend. Stuck in an unending full closure of the M6 instead.

After setting out before 10 I got to Huish Park at 6:10 or thereabouts. Getting in just as the half time whistle went.

Got to see Southend keeper Collin Ndi accidentally snap Alex Fisher's ankle. Horrible.

Southend were a goal up when I got there and then scored in the 91st minute against a dispirited Yeovil who were never really in the game.

Crowd was absolutely toxic too. They are absolutely fed up with the way the club is being run right now.

Anyone been to football in Greece? I am in Athens 10-12 May. Originally booked to come back to Leicester for Liverpool home, now that’s been moved to Monday night so I won’t go. Thinking of changing my flight and staying in Athens that weekend, Pana and AEK are at home. Is it too mental a scene for me to go alone? It’ll be last day of their season

Don't think he's on here that often but @AndWhat? has.

Both are going for the title (and particularly in Pana’s case) it’s been a while since that happened.

Pana play their original home which is a right wreck of a stadium. AEK just moved into a plush new stadium. Think getting a ticket for either might prove the problem - you’d have to hope you get a friendly member do you a big, big favour

Ah ok, thanks! I didn’t even think about problems getting a ticket. Looks like it’ll be a no go in that case, thanks for the advice, I will stick to my original flight

Can anyone give me any advice on where we should sit in the Mestalla? We'll be in Valencia when they play later this month and there are plenty of tickets available, I'm just not sure where is best. Does it really matter where we choose?

@Soup I'm not sure if you're still around, but I'm guessing you would be able to help me with this? @Stuntman_Mike I've seen on another thread you're off here soon too, have you booked tickets?
