The “inspirational” email from the club that we’ll all get on Monday including something from one of the players and the manager spouting guff about our performance v Southampton including the signs are encouraging, the togetherness of the group and how everyone is working hard to attain European football. Sorry, just noticed that you said positives.

At the moment everything you expect from a team who gets relegated after a top half finish is happening 

 

A manager out of ideas and inspiration 

Best players wanting out

No players incoming who make a positive difference.

Throwing away points against what are now our relegation rivals.

No cutting edge

No pattern apart from sideways passing.

Dull football without the solidity

Restless and possibly bored fans

A possible complacent leadership at the very top (assuming we are too good to go down) though that may change.

 

The positive is that it is early days and plenty of the above can change but at the moment we will look back in May 2023 and think it was so blindingly obvious we would get relegated

I’ve purposefully avoided beer for some time at the KP. It’s just not worth it - high end price got low end product. No thanks

Actually his in game decision making isn’t great imo - against Brentford when we were breaking he was trying to thread a needle when there were easier passes on. Yesterday he largely struggled to get into the game. But he’s certainly showing pashun …..

Koppenburg on tap is what I usually have down there now. I won’t drink lagar as it’s like drinking a pint of piss.
