Anyone know for sure if these three have signed their professional contracts?

Our current predicament might mean they wait and see for as long as possible. Eek!

Braybrooke and Nelson definitely have, although only on 3 year deals. Alves is ominously quiet in that regard but until he's 18 can only sign a 3 year pro deal as opposed to 5+ years once turned 18 or older.

I don't want to throw cold water on this one; but Mr Club Legend, Club Ambassador and Charity Runner has form for this sort of thing - and its not always the gospel truth.

Could be true; but there are sources and there are '(too much) sauces'.

And if there is something in it and it’s got to the point where he knows about it then it’s pretty much public knowledge

Hence, without any respected  journos speaking about it I have big reservations that there is anything in it

You've got to find an owner that has £500m + to buy the club though otherwise we are bought with debt and that's an unnerving prospect for a club that for all the outrageously good we have done in the last decade still can be at risk of potential relegation and financial chaos.

I always ask why clubs are bought for huge figures, what's in it for the owners as it can't be money and if it is for money then the club and fan base suffer as a result.

Most of the loans are long term facilities with King Power at low interest rates I think?

There's a chance the family would want to retain a share as well meaning a buyer might not have to stump up £500m and the stadium and training ground.

You are worth billions and can have everything you want, you have the cars, the boats, the mansions, whats next?

Yes, and they are accrued but we don't pay them at the moment.

This inability to criticize Top on the basis that his father was a good bloke seems to have infiltrated our way of thinking.

Vichai was great and will live forever at our club but he could recognize downward trajectory a lot earlier than Top. If nothing is done and fast our club faces certain relegation and years of good work flushed down the toilet. Top seems unable to make cut throat decisions and has clearly fallen for Brendan's spell and he risks huge reputation loss by sticking with him

Vichai the made who made Leicester

Kind of ironic his son could quite well destroy us

Did you overhear this in the pub too?

He heard it from a Welsh  man who was living in a council flat next to a bloke called Julian. :P

Destroy us? Even if we're relegated we;ll survive. I think you're being a bit melodramatic.

We'll see

We survived administration and relegation to league 1, I reckon we'll be okay.

Let's bear in mind here that there is no such thing as 'not for sale'... or at least its rare.

My company for example is not for sale, I'm not touting it for sale, I've never even thought about selling it, but if someone offers me GBP 5,000,000 for it; suddenly its very much for sale.

What I'm saying is maybe they've considered it; maybe they'd be open to an approach; maybe they quite fancy a bit of outside investment (not controlling share) to fund the next projects - (stadium and rebuild).

And maybe they haven't?

Not just black and white.

First and final offer:

Packet of Monster Munch, flavour of your choice

A subscription to the Mercury for two months next summer

A signed picture I drew of Jim Davidson fighting Godzilla at the De Montford

A Space Hopper with a slow puncture, and

37p

This doesn’t apply to any other businesses apart from TPH’s, so don’t anyone get the idea that I’m open to unsolicited PMs. Plus, none of these incredibly valuable items are for sale individually.

This place is getting so fkn depressing , fans talking about mentality of players and BR yet the spineless defeatist attitude  of some of our fanbase is pitiful.

Just cos it's not a bed of roses atm the tantrums and towel throwing is really sad to see 🙄
