thats one hell of a leaving statement from the kid- even though I think he is proper scum for how he has departed its also very telling about the current state of things- huge swipe at the club and rodgers- we are in a right mess arent we

He can throw Rodgers under the bus all he likes but if you act like a knob (like he did) then prepare to get treated like one.

completely agree with that one though

His whole social media account is actually a disgrace. The videos are a mockery, acting all sad when he forced himself out the door. Only one Wes who has the freedom of the city and it isn’t you, vermin.

Well done Fofana. You played your cards well. You did what every single one of us would have done in your position. As frustrating and disappointing it is to see you leave the club so soon, considering your new contract a few months ago, I cannot blame you.

If your joking, fair do's.

If not, and that's the kind of dishonesty & loyalty that you applaud, best of luck to your Mr / Mrs.

lol

Yes he threw us under the bus, this is the premier league and every single minute on the pitch counts when you’re a 70m defender playing for a club that has a defender crisis for talent and cover.

that is absolutely throwing us under the bus for greed. How long would he have been sulking if we point blank refused to sell? The fact he even asked not to play is disrespectful, he didn’t even cheer when Maddison scored when he was in the stands. He cares more about this move than he does his employers or the fans.

Apart from that I do agree it’s a massive shame. But it fixes our problems largely so happy to see the end of this saga and we can move on now.

Let's not be naïve. Very few players (or employees in general) will have genuine concern or attachment to their employer.

As I said, if this was anyone else in his shoes, why would they risk a major promotion if they could get away with it?

When people are laid off, how many actually serve during their severance period vs how many go on sick leave or something similar?

Fans live in a fantasy world sometimes and if all it takes to keep them happy is placating them a bit, then I do prefer the brutal honesty Fofana shows here.

It’s weird thought I’d feel anything towards this move but I actually don’t, couldn’t give a toss

Anyone not giving 100% is no good in the changing room. He wasn't a legend and he won't be missed. Apart from that it's good buisness for an unproven emerging talent.

I don't like it. I will be one of the most loyal people you know, to my own detriment probably.

I just choose to have sober eyes on this matter.

Not a particularly nice leaving statement though to be honest I’m more interested in what the club is doing to invest given all the negative stuff that is out there. I’m sure I’d be a lot more angrier if everything at the club was going well and this happened , this is just one of many negative elements the club has faced this summer.

Great player but a shitty attitude/behaviour which you can see from his transfer to and from us. Served his purpose with us.  We move on now.  Lets go foxes!

Hard to tell whether he is fishing or trying to save face. His statement looked like he was trying to moan about how the media portrayed him. What he doesn’t probably realise is that the supporters aren’t stupid, he has completely disrespected Leicester.

I imagine you're like me in that as soon as I'd watched him for 4 or 5 games, I knew he wasn't going to be around for long.

Incredibly good footballer. Clearly a total bellend though.

Looking forward to his leaving statement in 2 years when Madrid/Barca come knocking.
