Popular Post Area88 Posted 3 September 2022 Popular Post Posted 3 September 2022 Just some bad luck and tough fixtures recently, we are due a nice win. We almost beat Brentford first game of the season but we tanked second half. Imagine how different our season would be if we won that first game? 3 2 2 35

Cameron Davidson Posted 3 September 2022 Posted 3 September 2022 Hi Brendan, any chance you can play Cags? 1 2
foxy boxing Posted 3 September 2022 Posted 3 September 2022 Or we may draw or lose! It's one of three possibilities.

Bad luck my arse, you make your own luck in football we are just a really poorly coached team the signs are all there. I am sorry mate, not trying to piss on your parade maybe I am but with Rodgers in charge we won’t win.
Dan Posted 3 September 2022 Posted 3 September 2022 We will get thrashed. It's coming and that's where he's done for.

jayfox26 Posted 3 September 2022 Posted 3 September 2022 We will probably win just so Brendan can spite the fans and hang around for a few more weeks. 1
Foxxed Posted 3 September 2022 Posted 3 September 2022 We should give Brendan a new bumper contract after this win too. 4
iancognito Posted 3 September 2022 Posted 3 September 2022 This should be in the Brighton pre-match thread. You'll find some other optimists in there also having the piss, wind and sparkle in their eyes kicked out of them 1
Tuna Posted 3 September 2022 Posted 3 September 2022 Not sure it will be a thrashing but what concerns is United were barely out of first gear and one goal seems to be enough to beat us, if Brighton go for it then it could be reminiscent of the disgraceful results from the back end of Puel's first season Palace and West Ham, 4-0 and 5-0 I think? 1
STUHILL Posted 3 September 2022 Posted 3 September 2022 I actually do think we will win tomorrow. Not because we suddenly have turned the corner, but just because football works like that. I think it will be nothing more than papering over the cracks, but it will be a much needed 3 points nonetheless. I know people want a change now, however, I think the owners will give him the next 3 games anyway. 1
Tuna Posted 3 September 2022 Posted 3 September 2022 I don't see how Rodgers can continue if he loses at Brighton, 5 defeats in a row is untenable. 1

Above all others this season reminds me of 2010/11 and Sousa. It’s mainly the style but also the gaping chasm between reality and what the manager was saying. And that season going into the Portsmouth game loads of people (players, fans, press) were saying “sooner or later somebody is going to get a hiding from us”. We lost 6-1. The reality is that anything other than a defeat would be a surprise. We’ve not beaten a top half side in the league this year and we’ve not won away at a top half side since we beat Man United reserves just before the cup final in 2021.
StanSP Posted 3 September 2022 Posted 3 September 2022 I consider myself as an optimistic individual but even I can't see us getting anything tomorrow
