It’s seemed to me he was having a go at SK1, they tend to lead the crowd in booing players. I’m in SK2 and nobody around me was booing him.
Dont think it helped that our so-called supportive singing section in SK1 were singing “we’re going down” etc 10 minutes into the game.

More make believe :)

The guy has never shown any humility whatsoever !

Do the fans have a right to have a pop  ?
Yes as he’s been so poor over a period of time.

Take the criticism pal and get over yourself !

How he’s even part of the squad is beyond me, he shouldn’t be no where near.

Get rid of him !

in the Premier League, I can't stand him and I think he is useless and would happily give him away for free

in the Championship, he looks one of the best CB's in the league and should probably start every game for us

Because he doesn't have to do much defending in the Championship.

The kid is not doing himself any favours as any managers doing their research will see his antics as evidence of poor character and steer clear. This could be why he is still with us.

What’s the issue with his attitude?  Has he posted/ said something unforgivable?

I honestly thought people were shouting Wooot when he came on

but clearly there’s been some beef

I’m really confused on this one…. He’s has had some bad and some good performances…:  arguably our best centre half last year?  Yet he’s just not popular at all…

He had every right to feel aggrieved

We gave it out, he gave it back. No problem there.

Act properly on the pitch, play well and nobody has an issue. On him now to deliver.

He's a nob, but he is perfectly acceptable at this level. Out of the 5 CBs we have, Vestergaard should be the first out the door. Madness to extend his contract, absolute craziness.

Arrogant twat but our best CB at this level by a mile, unfortunately. Not sure I'd want him in there with Nelson though because my main gripe is that he blames everyone around him when stuff goes wrong. Watched him bollock Thomas, Kristiansen et al for 3 years and don't want him wrecking the confidence of another young player.

He threw his arms up in the air a few times after conceding goals and has a cheeky smirk.

Absolutely justified to give it back. Our fans can just be like that, like when we were booing Iheancho onto the pitch under Puel vs. Man U because he wasn't doing great in his first season with performances and injuries.

Still remember Vardy giving it back day 1 against Middlesbrough 2013/14 after scoring a peach.

Not really fussed about him getting booed onto the pitch, he’s been dross for years and his attitude is the absolute pits. He was laughing about it when he got into position.

His reaction? I’m in 2 minds, I like it as it shows a bit of fight and defiance. However, he’s hardly Franco Baresi… you’ve just scored the easiest header against a 10 man crisis club - you sure showed me mate 🤣🤣

I think some fans need to take a look at themselves and question “are we the entitled ones?”

Marti has been very clear during his pre-season social media it’s a fresh start for everyone and he’s clearly worked hard to get the players in a positive frame of my mind and on board for the season ahead.

Now I know Faes isn’t a favourite on these boards, but why “booo!” before he’s had a chance to do anything this season?

Mean, it was evidently the right change - Faes is more mobile and better with his feet the Okoli and it allowed us to press right up the pitch.

And what I don’t get - there’s so many on here saying “play the youngsters” yet, if as a fan base you’re creating a difficult atmosphere that’s not going to help them is it?

Unfortunately for Marti, he’s coming into a club with a lot of negativity surrounding it. Yes it might be a fresh start for him and fans will want to see him do well but whilst their is alot of questions unanswered from the top and overpaid/self entitled players who continue to be here who have been responsible for 2 relegations, fans are going to continue to voice their feelings. Just because it’s the start of a new season it doesn’t mean that everyone should just forget and move on

Never heard any player or manager have bad word to say about him.

Bit for some reason people seem to think he has a bad attitude.......

Then people who give him shit, cry when he gives it back.

The problem with that is, if he plays really well, we get promoted and his PL wages kick in again. Then we're back to having a dogshite, headless chicken who thinks he Van Dijk, on £80000/week.

Am I right in saying he walked straight down the tunnel after the game rather than applaud the fans with the rest of the team? Certainly appeared to. He'll do well to remember it was a very small proportion of fans that booed him, however loud booing always sounds. He will end up alienating everyone else if he starts being a first class c*** about it.
