Because he's a leader, he's improving the others around him. Soumare, Ward, Amartey and Justin have all improved since he came into the team. He intercepts the ball early, get the crowd going with his challenges and is good on the ball. The players around him feel more confident with him playing alongside them. Fofana can be a world beater, but he's the type that plays for the name on the back of his shirt. Faes plays for the badge on the front of it. Top bloke! 9

Fofana is better footballer, a Rolls Royce of a player. But Faes seems to be a better fit. Definitely more of a leader and organisers, seems to make other around him better. 3

Fofana has an incredibly high ceiling but he’s not outstanding yet. Faes is exactly what we’ve been missing. 1
